milnerfc Posted 22 July 2013 Posted 22 July 2013 How many are travelling up to bootham crescent this wednesday evening for the game? How many of the first team squad do you think are expected to feature seen as though there is a game (Vs Port Vale) the night before?
LCFC FOX Posted 22 July 2013 Posted 22 July 2013 Apparently its half the first team and half the development team for Port Vale and then the other half of both teams against York. Probably the same squads who played first and second half again Leamington. With the subs being the same 6 young lads for both nights

How many of the first team squad do you think are expected to feature seen as though there is a game (Vs Port Vale) the night before? bootham.jpg decided I'm off in the home end with about ten of my mates just behind the dugout which will be interesting given how close it is to the seats. Not sure how many fans we'll bother taking.whereabouts in York are you from?
milnerfc Posted 22 July 2013 Author Posted 22 July 2013 I'm in acomb. I don't know which end to go in yet I obviously want to be near other lcfc supporters. Where are others sitting/standing?
Corky Posted 22 July 2013 Posted 22 July 2013 Pearson has said it's a split squad. No change there then

Where are others sitting/standing?Other side of York to me then in fishergate. I would have gone in the Leicester end but have a mate in the academy who can get me free in the home end and I'm going with some mates. Not sure how many we will take too.
Heskey2011 Posted 22 July 2013 Posted 22 July 2013 I'll be going from Easingwold way, standing in the away end hopefully hope it doesn't rain
ousefox Posted 23 July 2013 Posted 23 July 2013 I'll be going from Easingwold way, standing in the away end hopefully hope it doesn't rain That's a point. Nobody will fancy the away end if it's like the weather we've had tonight!
LCFC FOX Posted 23 July 2013 Posted 23 July 2013 Logan Moore Taft Sesay Schlupp James Drinkwater Knockaert Dyer Wood Nugent Would be my guess for the team for tomorrow for you interested in going
Bert Posted 23 July 2013 Posted 23 July 2013 Logan Moore Taft Sesay Schlupp James Drinkwater Knockaert Dyer Wood Nugent Would be my guess for the team for tomorrow for you interested in going You guess wrong
LCFC FOX Posted 23 July 2013 Posted 23 July 2013 You're probably correct, I just said the players who weren't playing tonight
MikeyT Posted 24 July 2013 Posted 24 July 2013 http://www.lcfc.com/news/article/240713-match-preview-york-city-940851.aspx The pre-season programme continues tonight with a trip to face York City at Bootham Crescent (7.45pm KO) in City’s final fixture before Saturday's eagerly anticipated clash with AS Monaco. Nigel Pearson’s men have made it two wins out of two so far this pre-season, as last night’s 1-0 victory over Port Vale followed a 2-0 triumph over Leamington and a warm weather training camp in Austria. Tuesday's Port Vale clash saw City successfully experiment with a 3-5-2 formation that featured Ritchie De Laet and Paul Koncheksy as wing backs either side of a back three of Wes Morgan, Zak Whitbread and Sean St Ledger. It is likely to be a completely different XI for City tonight however, with the likes of Chris Wood, Anthony Knockaert, Matty James and Jeff Schlupp set to feature – as well as the possibility of a run out for David Nugent, who has recovered from a calf injury. Opposition Managed by former Leicester City caretaker boss Nigel Worthington, the Minstermen currently ply their trade in the fourth tier of English football. The 2012/13 season saw them successfully consolidate their position in League 2 with a 17th placed finish, following on from their 2012 Conference Play-Off Final victory over Luton Town in the previous campaign to secure a return to league football. York’s top league scorer last term was none other than Leicester City’s youngest ever player, Ashley Chambers, who chipped in with a useful ten goals – some of which coming alongside another former Fox, Richard Cresswell. The home side will be without Wes Fletcher for the clash, but could give a first run out to new signing Ben Davies, who joined on loan from League 1 side Preston North End last week. Ground With a current capacity of just under 8,000, Bootham Crescent hasn’t hosted a Leicester City side since a 1996 League Cup clash that saw Neil Lennon and Simon Grayson score in a 2-0 victory. York City’s home since 1932, the stadium has been used for many purposes over the years such as pop concerts, Rugby League matches, American football and international youth football. The record attendance for a match at Bootham Crescent stands at 28,123 for a tie between York City and Huddersfield Town in the FA Cup Sixth Round way back in March 1938. How to get there Address: York City FC, Bootham Crescent, York, YO30 7AQ Directions to Bootham Crescent can be found on York City’s official website. Tickets Adults: £12 Seniors 65+: £6 Students with a valid NUS Card: £6 Under 16's: £6 Tickets will only be available on the day. kingfox Posted 24 July 2013 Posted 24 July 2013 Just throw this in here, looks 4-4-2 tonight, with Gally playing right-back? Larrauri on the bench
Happy Fox Posted 24 July 2013 Posted 24 July 2013 Leicester City â€@OfficialFOXES3m #lcfc team to play @yorkcityfc: Logan, Gallagher, Schlupp, Drinkwater, Taft, Moore, Knockaert, James, Wood, Nugent, Dyer.
Matt Posted 24 July 2013 Posted 24 July 2013 Nugent in the team. I appologise if we have had news on Nugent's injury, I havn't really took much intrest so far this pre-season but the last I heard he was injured and may miss the start of the season but if he is in the team tonight, presumably his injury isn't as bad as first feared.
LCFC FOX Posted 24 July 2013 Posted 24 July 2013 Has to be Logan Gallagher Moore Taft Schlupp Knockaert James Drinkwater Dyer Wood Nugent
Solihullfox Posted 24 July 2013 Posted 24 July 2013 Leicester City â€@OfficialFOXES3m #lcfc team to play @yorkcityfc: Logan, Gallagher, Schlupp, Drinkwater, Taft, Moore, Knockaert, James, Wood, Nugent, Dyer. Presume we are going 3 at the back ? Can see Moore and Taft in which then suggests Schlupp at the back or are we playing 442 with Schlupp at left back and either Gallagher or ?? At right back. Glad to see we are making sure the players are playing to a plan and are completely clear on the tactics for the season, getting used to where they will be playing etc etc or is this purely a fitness run.
Fox92 Posted 24 July 2013 Posted 24 July 2013 Should be a decent game for their left winger then considering Gallagher probably won't make a challenge.
emmo1987 Posted 24 July 2013 Posted 24 July 2013 ..........Logan.......... ....moore..Drinkwater...taft schlupp...James..gally..dyer ......... knockaert......... ........wood.....nuge....... for a guess?
