A new CB? Who?

I doubt any Leicester fan believes that we can survive the season on the current CB's we have.

As St Ledger is set to leave, we are left with Morgan, Whitbread and Moore.

Who should we sign or loan who would be a good addition?

Is St Ledger set to leave, or is that just speculation again?

Anyway, as I said before, as a loanee; Craig Dawson. Will he play regular for West Brom? He was solid, and scored a few goals, for Bolton last season.

Pearson in the post match interview againt Port Vale stated we were light in the defence department but didnt think there would be any further activity on the transfer market.

Make of that as you will.

He also said he didn't expect any arrivals some time ago & we signed a much needed LB

We wanted Hobbs didn't we? Seems like we didn't get any of our targets.

Hull & us won't do business with each other after Pearson, Chester & Stewart sagas. Also

do we have any targets, we have to sell to get under FFP else face sanctions, any arrivals, no matter how minor will depend on some considerable departures of higher earners (likely to be those signed whilst Sven was in charge because of how much money we threw about at the time)I'm

not sure we have targets, particularly ones where a fee would be payable

Pearson goes a out his business very well so I doubt we have no targets in the pipeline. Just like Bakayogo, nobody knew we wanted him until a few hours before.

I believe after a bit more negotiating you will see St Ledger, Danns and Gallagher off the wage bill (even if its mostly off it as they go on loan) but only then will Pearson be able to move.

Lets face it the only way Pearson was going to be able to negotiate to bring Hobbs back is if we had let Schmeichel go for a ridiculous low price

We need two more signings, a centre back should of been top of the list in my opinion, we also need another central midfielder as people have banged on about this ever since last season. I would leave the strikers as they are, if Waghorn and Vardy can produce some form in the league, like they have done in Pre Season so far, then that will be a huge positive.

So therefore...

Zakuani

Wague

Keane

Martial

One of them four will do.

Personally I think we have enough centre backs we just need 1 with more quality to them, wouldn't mind seeing Liam Moore step up the lad seems alright with decent potential

Why do we need another CM?

We have James, King, Drinkwater and Cain. All of which are perfectly good players.

I do believe that we need a bit of strength in our mid but it isn't urgent and so while FFP is looming we don't need to move quick. A loan would do us fine.

We will end up with Zakuani I think, a few games into the new season

Is he even any good? Not being funny but he was playing in a Peterborough side that got relegated and conceded a lot of goals along the way. I know one player cannot do it all on his own but if he was that good surely somebody without financial restrictions would have him by now?

Chris Baird would be a great signing, free agent, but again comes down to wages!

Patrick Kisnorbo, Matt Heath & Robbie Nielson are all available on frees as well - anyone!? ;)

What you have to remember about a centre back is that they either prefer play at left centre back or right centre back, so it's no good signing Hobbs or Zakuani if they both play on the same side as Morgan as Morgan is first choice.

I wanted a top of the range racing bike for Xmas as a kid but mum and dad could not afforod top of the range.

Pearson will cut his cloth to suit as money is freed up.

He would know we did'nt have a fee budget just a wage budget.

I think more so than ever we need to get behind him the team and the club good vocal support could make the difference this season.
