LCFC1991 Posted 25 July 2013 Posted 25 July 2013 If we could sign any one player, regardless of cost and wages etc from another championship club, who would it be? I personally would choose Tom Ince as it would be great to see him and knocky in the same team, would frighten most defences in the league!
Jimmy Posted 25 July 2013 Posted 25 July 2013 He may be a **** but Joey Barton is far too good for this league
Fox92 Posted 25 July 2013 Posted 25 July 2013 Agreed, Barton has always been a good footballer. It's just a shame his attitude lets him down. For me, I'd go for a defender considering I think that's where we need to improve. I like the look of Sean Morrison at Reading, watched him a few times last year on tv and he seems to be so good in the air.
LCFC1991 Posted 25 July 2013 Author Posted 25 July 2013 Completely forgot about him, quality player shame about his brain.
LeicesterAreGoingUp Posted 25 July 2013 Posted 25 July 2013 Shaun maloney or Roger Esponiza from Wigan would be quality
tomtom Posted 25 July 2013 Posted 25 July 2013 It's not an exciting one as such but a fully fit Richard Dunne would be great alongside wes and just what we need, .. even if just for one season, Obviously Barton as well if your including him
Dickov22 Posted 25 July 2013 Posted 25 July 2013 I'd love to see Joey Barton in our team. He's quality
Guest MattP Posted 25 July 2013 Posted 25 July 2013 Callum Mcmanaman. Could genuinely be at a top 4 club in 2-3 years. Him and Knocky on the wings.....
xNayCurtis Posted 25 July 2013 Posted 25 July 2013 Good to see majority of people in this thread know what trhey are talking about.. There are only 3 players in this league I would like to see at City, JoeyB, Callum Mcmanaman or Tom Ince.. Thank you Santa!
Night Air Posted 25 July 2013 Posted 25 July 2013 Gary hooper if QPR do sign him, still can't believe he'd leave Celtic for a championship side when a few premier league teams were interested.
foxfanazer Posted 25 July 2013 Posted 25 July 2013 Loic Remy is probably/almost definitely the est player in the league currently. Wouldn't think he'll still be at QPR for the start of the season though. I really don't rate Barton, his playing ability isn't good enough to make up for the fact that he's a grade A cvnt! Mcarthur, McCarthy or Mcmanaman would be great too
Kitchandro Posted 25 July 2013 Posted 25 July 2013 People would really want Joey Barton here? The man is fvcking nuts. Nobody needs a loose cannon like him, regardless of if he's a Premiership talent. We don't need another Dennis Wise.
Guest Col city fan Posted 25 July 2013 Posted 25 July 2013 Callum Mcmanaman. Could genuinely be at a top 4 club in 2-3 years. Him and Knocky on the wings..... I mentioned McManaman last season. Wigan are going to be a good side this season.
foxfanazer Posted 25 July 2013 Posted 25 July 2013 I mentioned McManaman last season. Wigan are going to be a good side this season. Agreed, I think they could/should walk this league
Bayfox Posted 25 July 2013 Posted 25 July 2013 If your talking about who would I like to see here who could make a difference then Remy would be class. However based on the fact, a qpr won't sell him to us, he won't want to play in the championship for us or qpr then I think we missed a trick with Grant Holt. but again in our current position we didn't have the cash. Realistically I'm gutted we missed out on Hobbs. I think he improved during his time with us, Ok him alongside Wes may lack pace, but for basic defending they wouldn't concede many with Kasper behind them and we may need to keep plenty of clean sheets this year to have any chance. Failing that, Yann!!!
LCFC1991 Posted 25 July 2013 Author Posted 25 July 2013 Wigan and QPR should be top 2 with there squads. Can see Bolton being there or there abouts too.

Failing that, Yann!!! He would be decent!!! the obvious choices are Remy, Cesar, Mcmannaman & Ince.. Out of those I'd take Mcmannaman, he will be class in a few years.
Guest Sharpe's Fox Posted 25 July 2013 Posted 25 July 2013 Kebe destroyed this league a few seasons ago, I'd take him any day.
