TheUltimateWinner Posted 27 July 2013 Posted 27 July 2013 Schmeichel, De Laet, Konchesky, Drinkwater, Morgan ©, Whitbread, James, Vardy, King, St. Ledger, Wood. subs: Marshall, Dyer, Waghorn, Schlupp, Danns, Gallagher, Moore, Bakayogo, Knockaert, Logan.
NewburyFox Posted 27 July 2013 Posted 27 July 2013 3-5-2 then, shame not to see Knocky start but clear that we're being slightly conservative in centre midfield. We're going to need King to get forward in the first half.
TheUltimateWinner Posted 27 July 2013 Author Posted 27 July 2013 Ah Alan Young has already just dropped his first clanger after being told the team news.
AKCJ Posted 27 July 2013 Posted 27 July 2013 Vardy gets the nod. Wanted Knocky in for Drinkwater though.
Leicester_Numan Posted 27 July 2013 Posted 27 July 2013 I'd rather have seen Waggy starting up front with Wood
TheUltimateWinner Posted 27 July 2013 Author Posted 27 July 2013 I'd rather have seen Waggy starting up front with Wood x2
AKCJ Posted 27 July 2013 Posted 27 July 2013 #lcfc subs: Marshall, Dyer, Waghorn, Schlupp, Danns, Gallagher, Moore, Bakayogo, Knockaert, Logan.
Leicesterpool Posted 27 July 2013 Posted 27 July 2013 Schmeichel, De Laet, Konchesky, Drinkwater, Morgan ©, Whitbread, James, Vardy, King, St. Ledger, Wood. subs: Marshall, Dyer, Waghorn, Schlupp, Danns, Gallagher, Moore, Bakayogo, Knockaert, Logan. Okay sounds alright, but oh god Jamie Vardy
EnderbyFox Posted 27 July 2013 Posted 27 July 2013 Not surprised to see Vardy start, put in a decent shift the other night.
kingfox Posted 27 July 2013 Posted 27 July 2013 3-5-2 But seems a bit too defensive playing Drinkwater in the midfield. Vardy will have Carvalho's pants down. And I'm off in 10, enjoy guys
Haydos Posted 27 July 2013 Posted 27 July 2013 Ah Alan Young has already just dropped his first clanger after being told the team news. What's he said?
TheUltimateWinner Posted 27 July 2013 Author Posted 27 July 2013 What's he said? Stringer read out the bench (Nugent isn't on there) and 30 seconds later youngy says 'We have a strong bench to mix it up, we have knockaert, we have nugent.'
BoneDog Posted 27 July 2013 Posted 27 July 2013 Happy to find that this is on Sky as streams are useless on my pc. King volley FTW.
lgfualol Posted 27 July 2013 Posted 27 July 2013 Maybe if Vardy plays well a league 2 side will buy him
Leicester_Numan Posted 27 July 2013 Posted 27 July 2013 Not surprised to see Vardy start, put in a decent shift the other night. So did Waghorn and out of all the strikers used in the friendlies so far, he's the one who you would consider has earned a starting place. As we need another option up front, I'm interested to see if that combination would work but I suppose Wood and Vardy is also worth a look
lgfualol Posted 27 July 2013 Posted 27 July 2013 What's up with Nugent? probably doesnt want to risk injuring him again
GingerrrFox Posted 27 July 2013 Posted 27 July 2013 I can't see that being the starting 11 next week. Swap Knocky for Drinkwater and I reckon it is. Only reason he's gone defensive in there is because of Monaco's ability.
Leicesterpool Posted 27 July 2013 Posted 27 July 2013 seven changes to be made at half time according to shakey!
Ric Flair Posted 27 July 2013 Posted 27 July 2013 This 3-5-2 is only any good if we have some creativity in the team in the likes of Knockaert or Marshall. Konchesky isn't that strong going forward any longer so technically we've got a very defensive line-up but perhaps that's needed in some games? Fancy Knockaert and Marshall to come on just behind Wood 2nd half and run riot
LcFc_Smiv Posted 27 July 2013 Posted 27 July 2013 My god our own fans on facebook and twitter! Nice to see all the world class football coaches who follow City are voicing their opinion on how wrong Pearson has got it. Sack the backroom staff they obviously know nothing about how to prepare the squad for the season!
