MC Prussian Posted 23 August 2013 Posted 23 August 2013 ... no, not cheaper prices in the concourse - it's just a new, extended sponsorship deal: http://www.lcfc.com/news/article/230813-pukka-pies-renews-partnership-1009149.aspx Not sure if promoting pies (not so healthy) and football (healthy) go together well enough... Morgan in particular doesn't appear to be too pleased.
ealingfox Posted 23 August 2013 Posted 23 August 2013 Filling the pies with money so they can be smuggled into the Club and help us beat FFP I heard.
Fox in the North Posted 23 August 2013 Posted 23 August 2013 Do they still do the balti pie? I didn't see any at the Leeds game
Guest Sharpe's Fox Posted 23 August 2013 Posted 23 August 2013 Think I can see Michael Johnson having a peek under that lorry.
RobHawk Posted 23 August 2013 Posted 23 August 2013 Local company so why not! its not like crisps are that healthy either!
Strokes Posted 23 August 2013 Posted 23 August 2013 Local company so why not! its not like crisps are that healthy either!Still would be nice if they offered a little variety in the concourses, pukka pies, rat burgers, and something they call hotdogs, isn't really what I like to eat. Rarely do you find good grub at these events though.

Rarely do you find good grub at these events though. The food on offer has had a bit of a shake up. We've got a new general manager from Compass the catering company (hadn't started at the Leeds game) so there are a few more options being rolled out in the coming weeks.

Leicester Lass Posted 23 August 2013 Posted 23 August 2013 Interesting, any ideas on what we can expect? In the Fosse Club: 1. Pizza and curry 2. Deli, hot, cold baguettes, wraps, etc. and coffee 3. Hog roast 4. Fish and chips 5. Local butcher sausage and mash or butchers pie and mash 6. Local sausage hot dogs The changes to the menu for the concourse are as follows; -Spicy bean burrito wrap -Ploughmans baguette -Non – Vegetarian baguette (chef’s choice) They're also introducing a meal deal in the family stand for kids which gives a hot dog, drink, cookie/doughnut and a player card. Also may later have fruit bags as a healthy option, but they haven't sold well at other grounds apparently.

Gallagher Pie - Looks nice on the outside but no filling then leaves you with a bitter aftertaste
jonthefox Posted 23 August 2013 Posted 23 August 2013 I will never eat one of those things. My brother did temp work there and came back with some horrific snot flicking stories.

Guest MattP Posted 23 August 2013 Posted 23 August 2013 Menu looks far better. Now get some 5 star hygiene certificates up and some staff who aren't complete drips and I might consider buying it.
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 23 August 2013 Posted 23 August 2013 We really must be hard up if we need their sponsorship. They taste vile.

Do you remember when you had to queue in a different side if you wanted alcohol aswel? The fans and staff could never get their heads around it is was so funny.

I snuck two cans in last season at the Watford game and cracked them open at half time. Steward came over and said you cant drink that.....without a glass and went over, got me one ans poured it in
Larry_LCFC Posted 23 August 2013 Posted 23 August 2013 Think I can see Michael Johnson having a peek under that lorry. You made me scroll up to take another look you bastard
Larry_LCFC Posted 23 August 2013 Posted 23 August 2013 So the fosse club get local sausage hot dogs and we get ****in lidl value shite. Why cant they just bulk order decent local burgers and sausages. Robbing arseholes.
Beliall Posted 23 August 2013 Posted 23 August 2013 I will never eat one of those things. My brother did temp work there and came back with some horrific snot flicking stories. Same can be said for any ready to eat / mixrowave / cook pies, pasties etc.
Greatness_Since_1884 Posted 23 August 2013 Posted 23 August 2013 Haha FFP is really cranking up our sponsorship. Probably won't be long until we have 'corners brought to you by IKEA' or something
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 23 August 2013 Posted 23 August 2013 At last some news we can get our teeth into
TrentFox Posted 23 August 2013 Posted 23 August 2013 How shit is the level of speculation in our club when this becomes the highlight of my evening ? Jeez, I need to get out more
