Why? It's been made to run in a horizontal position.

It should be able to run standing pretty poor if you ask me but besides that. Wow what a console

Panic stations earlier.

I had my Xbox one in a upright position and put a DVD in, it didn't read! Thought great I've got a dodgy xbox. Turns out after a phone call to a friend that you need to lay the Xbox flat for it to dead disks. I find that pretty poor to be honest.

Don't put it sideways at all ffs it's not designed to be, you'll break it!

I honestly do find the fact you cant stand it up abit pathetic the only real reason i can see for doing this is so people dont scratch there disks like i did with my 360 atleast make a stand for it or something i think the X1 standing up could look alot more snazzy then laying down like a mini pc or something.

There was an Xbone at Sainsburys Fosse Park today. 6pm. It was packed with people in there but there it stood.

Says it all.

I wonder if it's still there?

Maybe nobody had gone shopping with the idea of buying a £400 games console?

It doesn't really "say it all"

And it was Sainsburys. Of all places. lol

To be fair. It should be able to play it sideways. 360 does. PS3 does PS4 I'm unsure of.

You can buy a stand for the PS4 so I'm guessing it does.

I read GAME were doing them ready for new year. Only the bigger bundles, priced at £600 or near enough.

Milking it doesn't begin to describe this sales tactic. Pretty poor showing imo, they should offer a variety of packages, even more so considering they almost went under.

If Microsoft have their way of course, they will.

edit: just checked GAME, the largest bundle is £699.99. Scandalous.

On the other hand, if you can wait until jan 10, amazon will send one out then if you part with a sensible 384.99 shadow fall bundled in.
