I will give this PS4 a go over the weekend. Mate says don't bother until at least March though based on a £50 price tag for a limited amount of choices of software.

Fair enough.

He's also underwhelmed by the store as well but no doubt this will pick up.

After March...

people are overlooking what I consider to be the best game on ps4, war thunder. its a cracking game and massivly underrated.

I can understand why people are being so quiet over these new consoles having tried the ps4 this afternoon.

Resogun was the best game on offer imo and its free off the store. Says it all. Also tried fifa and cod. Apart from some fancy lighting on cod here and there, no difference in graphical quality.

The controller is a definite improvement though, the thumb sticks are great.

Roll on March...!

Maybe people are busy enjoying there PS4's? Also resogun is a nice game but i dont know how someone could play it like a AAA title no way near deep enough COD's shit BF4 is a shadow of it's former self IMO playing it on PC tho Killzone online now that is a right bobby dazzler also i must ask why march seems to be a special month for everyone that didn't get it at launch lol

March: Thief, Infamous, Metal Gear, Watchdogs.

The quality of the games available quadruples in March.

Yeah that actually looks quite good didn't know metal gear was in march and thought infamous was earlier but still its not like march is far plus the games out for it are good just not special only real reason i see waiting for is to see what the consoles actually perform like or a price drop the games were always going to come.

A World War 2 game needs to be released on either on these consoles. Something like World At War. Brothers in Arms etc? PLEASE :)

Agree to a certain degree, modern military games have been done to death, but saying that, WW2 has been done to death as well. It's difficult to see what they could do that would be any different to the 100,000 other WW2 shooters out there.

Forget the games, I would just like to find somewhere in the next two and a bit months where I can just pop in and buy a "standalone" console without all the extra rubbish that comes in a bundle.

The Order 1886 looks like it has potential as a shooter with a twist. Wait for that. The Division also looks decent.

I think we're all fed up with COD and it's clones. Something new needs serving up, a new game engine, something different. (Titianfall doesn't count - it still plays like COD on the gameplay videos, apart from the mechs and jumping around like a madman with jet packs).

Ghosts is the most frustrating COD to date, I think they've just hit the ceiling to what they can do now. Brand new series like Watchdogs will be what make the next gen worth it, because the current games like FIFA, cod and battlefield are stagnating.

A new RDR is what I'm hoping for.

that new aliens game look decent, better not be like the last Aliens game(oh dear god, a 50 metre sheet of bubble wrap is better) reminds me a bit of Outlast(Which will be free on PSN+ during 2014 btw ;)

alot of good games coming this year,

Tempted to reserve a ps4 last night from Argos fosse park. They have them in stock. Killzone and Knack bundles.

not many though, 5 according to the app.

Xbones are so easy to pick up, not selling as well imo.

Microsoft will be fine, there is always room for two reasonably successful machines in the console market. From the stats I've seen their shifting enough.

they'll just have announce a orice cut at E3 this year tbh, probably to the same price as the PS4 atm.

also dont know if anyone saw the "rumoured" PSN+ update for Feb, but looks very good imo.

PS4: Outlast,

PS3: Bioshock Infinite, Metro Last Light.

Vita: Dynasty Warriors Next, Modnation Racers.

This microsoft have to big of a fan base to die out that fast even if there console had DRM it probley would of survived due to the xbox fans just like the ps3 when that launched i do think tho if sony had more stock on demand the gap would be a fair bit bigger than 1.2m
