They're going for £500+ on there. Mugs, the lot of them. Online, I can only find shopto who are still guaranteeing delivery before Xmas, everyone else is after. Amazon a little vague but I guess in a week less so. Their xbox one says next stock in January 7. Just do the sensible thing and wait until March.

Stockfinder website is good my friend got ps4 from very.co.uk via the stockfinder website might be worth a try. Word of warning though my PS4 was faulty so had to get replacement which Sony got out to me the next day so you may get a faulty one like i did. Dont buy off Ebay really inflated price and just not worth. I say try the stockfinder website (just type in Ps4 on search engine and it appears) and if no luck then just wait until after xmas.

Everywhere else is saying the start of February is the earliest you'll get one. Got practically no chance of just walking in a shop and picking one up now before christmas

Reading things like this makes me happy i took the chance when i had it but at the same time makes me sad i didn't pre-order five of the bastards i'd be laughing right about now.

I walked into Comet and there it was. No problem. There were loads for sale. Looking back the launch lineup was far stronger than it is now as well. And it was March, not just over a month to Xmas. It surprises me that people have thrown £400 on this but then I have a mate who has both, on finance mind.
Beliall Posted 3 December 2013 Posted 3 December 2013 same here but its not having it. love the machine but this is adding to a list of problems im having. 2 crashes on xmb and it failed to wake from standby. seen the safe mode screen 3 times now. in case anyone else has trouble streaming, log on to your twitch account on pc, go to profile- - settings and reset your stream key. working great now, i broadcast everytime im on.

Back then the 360 had released a year earlier and the UK especially was in a love affair with it. Plus the ps3 was an insane price if I remember? It really wasn't until late 07 that Sony started to turn that console around sales wise. This time though they have an affordable console that's easy to develop for, has a raw power advantage over it's competitor and will undoubtedly make a lot of money in software sales.

As for the PS4 - well, I've just re-purchased the Red Dead Redemption and Fallout 3 GOTY editions, and I'll be hibernating until the spring, by which point I should hopefully have enough cash for a PS4...

They've been so unavailable because of all the scalpers. There have been reports of almost entire midnight launch lines being scalpers from various internet companies, happily talking out loud to each other about it. Don't be a part of the problem.

Absolutely. At the midnight launch at Game in Coventry (I walked past it) there were people stood outside offering to buy other peoples PS4 for £150 extra than what the RRP is. If I was there I'd of done it straight away.

kingcarr21 Posted 5 December 2013 Posted 5 December 2013 used my PS Vita for remote play yesterday for first time EPIC Love the PS4 but not saw the xbox one yet so will hold judgement for now but always been Sony fan and the integration of Vita was a great idea

The first ones they released had a much better screen on them, but it made it too expensive to produced so they changed it.
