Managed to get the PS4 at 9am this morning from Argos no pre-order about 40 people in the que.

How much was it there? The games are about £65 from there I think.

£349 for the Standalone console, just went and bought killzone for £40 should have been £50 but got a £10 off voucher when I bought the PS4

They had Knack and Killzone bundles as well think they we're £399

After spending a few hours on the PS4 last night im really impressed with it was playing Resogun and Killzone and you can tell this is a big step up from the current gen.

Killzone graphics are very impressive and the game isn't bad either, Resogun is addictive and free.

The new controller is the biggest improvement, I had a 360 for 7 years and this new pad is better than the 360 imo feels great.

All in all very happy with it, plus its out of stock everywhere!!

I'm going to wait at least a year from release, since there's plenty of life in my current consoles and I have such little time now, with 3 young kids, also I want to wait for any glitches to be ironed out and any massive hardware issues (I've had 3x RROD this generation) to come out before making a choice. On current line up I like the xbox one. Is it fair to say this generation the xbox one is targeted at the more hardcore gamer whilst the PS4 while have perhaps more impressive cinematics and quicktime events (gaming all the same, but not for me I'm afraid)?

Will be interested to see the feedback/experience of those early adopters now, a month in, 3 months in, etc.

Exactly my plan. Should be a lot more games out by then, too.

I would say the opposite. The only next gen game that heavily uses QTE's that I can think of is Ryse, which is an Xbox exclusive.

This the only game thats comnig out for the xbox anytime soon that i would consider hardcore is titanfall and if you're a hardcore gamer you'd get that on PC anyway but i would still except games like heavy rain to come to ps4 over xbox also i'd say killzone is pretty hardcore compared to most console shooters no aim assist at all which is a good thing.

If by free you mean £40 a year, then yes, yes it is! :P

how have you got that working? i keep getting an error message trying to broadcat fifa or war thunder

when at the main PS dashboard press that share button on the controller then click "options" and it will allow you to create a twitch account. then when I started the game up just pressed share again and broadcast stream 3rd option. thats all I done

some game stores still have them, bound to be some overpriced ones on ebay and the like. ask about theres bound to be one somewhere. failing that if you need a new phone theres a shop giving them away with contracts.

I'd say if you're looking for a ps4 or x1 go places like macro/cosco and keep trying tesco asda and currys argos aswell i suppose but the ones in town are gonna be gone asoon as there in i guess.
