Legend_in_blue Posted 12 May 2015 Posted 12 May 2015 Just watched the live reveal of the next assassins creed game. Assassins Creed Syndicate. Not convinced by this, looks all the same old same old. Gone are rope walkways between buildings, you fire a line of rope instead. Transportation is by horse and carriage. The fighting, although revamped, they claim, looks the same old easy stuff. In a nutshell, not impressed.

From looking at all of their profiles they all seem to have cod and fifa with poor completion rates. Those casuals. But I bet you sent them all a fanboy message your self

I'm kind of bored of side scrollers and puzzle games, so I am with you on the "dropping a really good title" idea. I might give MGS a go though.

I'm kind of bored of side scrollers and puzzle games, so I am with you on the "dropping a really good title" idea. I might give MGS a go though. I bought it a few months ago when it was on offer (about £8, or something) the main mission is really good but the others are just filler. Set on the same base but at different times of day with different objectives. Looking forward to the full game, though.

Binding of Isaac I've put more hours in to than the rest of the games I've played since it has been out combined, I would imagine. A few little gems along the way as well. Generally though it is weak content. But I do find it more than pays for itself over 12 months, given the games I enjoy or try that I wouldn't normally vs the cost of it. I played through Ground Zeroes when it was out, wasn't overly impressed.

On the whole though it's a pretty shite service compared to games with gold, who in comparison gave away Dark Souls for free two weeks.

FX Pool (or whatever it's called), Castle Storm, D4, Worms Battlegrounds, IDARB, Child of Light... they're all really terrible games that obviously haven't sold at all. I tried to play it for an hour and was bored witless as the core gameplay is really dated
Steve_Guppy_Left_Foot Posted 29 May 2015 Posted 29 May 2015 I really enjoyed Child of Light, thought the combat was brilliant and the way they tell the story is quite good. And it's similar in that the PS3 games they give away are generally quite good, Uncharted, Dishonored, Sherlock Holmes etc.

Steve_Guppy_Left_Foot Posted 19 June 2015 Posted 19 June 2015 So Playstation have added a media player, which supports MKV files, so thought finally I'll be able to download MKV films but put my USB stick in and it doesn't see anything that's on my stick, be it avi, mp4 or mkv, any one got any ideas?
