svensson Posted 12 September 2013 Posted 12 September 2013 The youth of today want everything laid out on a silver platter for them. Get out there and hit the streets, why not interview folk at the game? Club shop? LCFC employees? Players? Make it different to the usual crap that is in these sh&te magazines, there is some help for you!
Al-aLondon-Foxile Posted 12 September 2013 Posted 12 September 2013 Does your editor want to know how much integrity costs, and if they sell it in the club shop? I'd say you need to revisit to get a feel for the place now, by all means ask about bars and experiences as they need to be experienced which isn't easy with an infrequent trip. But seriously, with the question you asked you're niave to expect anything other than sarcasm in your situation.
BrummieFOX Posted 12 September 2013 Posted 12 September 2013 Where is best to drink for home and away fans? Counting House for Sky Sports and lager, The Western for Real Ale and food. -How much is a pie and a cup of tea? About £3.50? -How much is a matchday programme? £3
tommyh Posted 12 September 2013 Posted 12 September 2013 Some of the replies and comments on here towards the poor young lad are just embarrasing! No need #keyboardwarriors
Wilson_6 Posted 12 September 2013 Posted 12 September 2013 Something a little more helpful would be appreciated... This though!
Wilson_6 Posted 12 September 2013 Posted 12 September 2013 Not quite sure how this has been turned round on to me. Was just looking for a little bit of help. Are there any fellow foxes fans that have something good to say? For the second time time today i find my self saying this. You have done nothing wrong mate, This forum is full of pig ignorant idiots & keyboard warriors!

svensson Posted 12 September 2013 Posted 12 September 2013 For the second time time today i find my self saying this. You have done nothing wrong mate, This forum is full of pig ignorant idiots & keyboard warriors!Because I disagree with his methods and plagiarism, i am a keyboard warrior and ignorant? How is it fair on the folk who buy the magazine under false pretences? You sir are the warrior by spouting insults and generalisations... Contradictory my dear fellow...
Captain... Posted 12 September 2013 Posted 12 September 2013 Our fans are great aren't they. Surely we've all read those types of articles, where each ground is compared on such trivial things as well as giving a personal insight into the match day atmosphere. Now as he was a season ticket holder until recently, probably listens on the radio, so he can be fairly sure that the atmosphere hasn't changed, but if he wants to give accurate info and hasn't been to either of our 2 home league games this season (Neither have I so, I can't help too much.) he probably wants to check programme/pie/cup of tea prices as they may have changed. Secondly everyone will have a different preference for home pub, so rather than just saying his preferred spot, what is so wrong with a bit of crowd sourcing, it would be very arrogant for him to say that his personal favourite was the best, and being able to evaluate other people's preferences would give a better insight. Would it really be that hard just to be helpful, rather than be a bunch of cocks?

Deucalion Posted 12 September 2013 Posted 12 September 2013 Well it's not a school magazine !! http://twentyfour7football.com/ Isn't the Counting House a good place where home and away fans mix?
_Fatboyslow_ Posted 12 September 2013 Posted 12 September 2013 The editor wanted to include how much a cup of tea is, as they are covering all grounds across the country and comparing prices you complete moron[/quote If all you are doing is comparing prices is been done, loads of stuff in the media, phone the club and ask them. This is what you posted " I'm writing a feature article for twentyfour7 football magazine on match days at Leicester City. " Not a price survey
GingerrrFox Posted 12 September 2013 Posted 12 September 2013 Well it's not a school magazine !! http://twentyfour7football.com/ Isn't the Counting House a good place where home and away fans mix? Exactly my point. It's a well known publication but matey can't be arsed to do some proper research for a "feature article".
_Fatboyslow_ Posted 12 September 2013 Posted 12 September 2013 And instead of show his writing skills wades in with name calling, such journalistic skills
theessexfox Posted 12 September 2013 Posted 12 September 2013 Surely a fans forum is one of the best places to go to get efficient, detailed information about matchdays? Pr1cks.
Hollism Posted 12 September 2013 Posted 12 September 2013 can't believe people on here are so aggressive! Save it for the countless away fans who will be on here if we go on a good run
svensson Posted 12 September 2013 Posted 12 September 2013 Surely a fans forum is one of the best places to go to get efficient, detailed information about matchdays? Pr1cks. Rubbish, its guesswork and 2nd hand knowledge.
KFS Posted 12 September 2013 Posted 12 September 2013 The international break has really shot some of you pedantic, high horse riding ****** in the foot hasn't it? The poster who asked about his CV lol Surely it would be best for him to allow input from us all as opposed to just writing it based upon information he's got from the club/ other sources mentioned above. By asking the fans, surely he'd discover the real goods?
davieG Posted 12 September 2013 Posted 12 September 2013 is there? whereabouts? To the right of the shop
dayday Posted 12 September 2013 Posted 12 September 2013 To the right of the shop Has the beer improved in there?
Strokes Posted 12 September 2013 Posted 12 September 2013 Surely a fans forum is one of the best places to go to get efficient, detailed information about matchdays? Pr1cks.You would think so wouldn't you, arseholes.
georgec Posted 12 September 2013 Author Posted 12 September 2013 Thanks to some of you for your help. One last thing, what's the highest scoring game at the ground? I was thinking 6-1 against Huddersfield last season?
Loggy88 Posted 12 September 2013 Posted 12 September 2013 Feel some fans being harsh here. He just asking for a bit of info no need to act like twats towards him. Leave it out!
steveherbe Posted 12 September 2013 Posted 12 September 2013 Counting house for mixing with away fans, local hero for homesters. And the balti pies in the ground are bloody marvellous
_Fatboyslow_ Posted 12 September 2013 Posted 12 September 2013 I suggest I reads the news, (BBC) he find will most of what he needs there. Are you sure he's not just take one ?
