Corky Posted 15 September 2013 Posted 15 September 2013 flippin heck you do go on a bit with all the detail , no one asked for your whole life story . I'd assume it's the Cup Final in 1999?
harpendenfox Posted 15 September 2013 Posted 15 September 2013 0-1 at home to West Ham in 1975. Clyde Best.
syston_fox Posted 15 September 2013 Posted 15 September 2013 Boxing day 2004 I think, home against Rotherham we went down 1-0. You would have been forgiven for going off and supporting anyone else after that game!
Foxes1 Posted 15 September 2013 Posted 15 September 2013 Leicester City 7 Arsenal 2 Early 60's (63), but i'm not actually sure if it was my very first game , but it's the one that sticks in my mind as the point when i got hooked . I remember it well. The Arsenal goalkeeper got injured and England international forward Joe Baker went in goal but I think we were 5-2 up at the time.
Saxondale Posted 15 September 2013 Posted 15 September 2013 Leicester 3 - 0 Blackburn, 21st September 1991.
Meltonfossefox Posted 15 September 2013 Posted 15 September 2013 2-2 vs Utd, 1997 - great side That game was televised. On the Sunday I clashed heads playing football and lost memory for a couple of days...the doctors questioned me and had been I watched the game in the pub. When he told me the result and opposition I freaked as I thought we were still in the championship it cleared soon and I made full recovery scary tho.
ROB-THE-BLUE Posted 15 September 2013 Posted 15 September 2013 Leicester 3 Swindon 1 - January 1992 Tommy Wright got 2 and I think it was Paul Fitzgerald with the other
Zingari Posted 15 September 2013 Posted 15 September 2013 I'd assume it's the Cup Final in 1999? I actually thought it was the game that Mark de Vries scored the last minute goal when we won 3-2 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MhAchC9u98o but Why not the Cup final in 61 ?it was very short on detail
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 15 September 2013 Posted 15 September 2013 Notts County away 1979/80 season. 1-0 to Leicester
Donut Posted 15 September 2013 Posted 15 September 2013 First game was a 2-1 home defeat to West Brom it was a good while ago, and being very young, i dont remember a huge amount about it. I do remember Iwan Roberts having to go off injured after about 30 seconds, and then the deadlock was broken by a piledriver from Richard Sneekers for the baggies. I really cannot recall who got our equaliser, or the West Brom winner though
jord01455 Posted 16 September 2013 Posted 16 September 2013 Sept 24th 1983 v Stoke on my 10th Birthday Our school got free tickets and we sat in the old main stand, remember it was 2 all but cant remember who scored
Ash79 Posted 16 September 2013 Posted 16 September 2013 1985 Leicester City 0 - 3 Luton Town Got free tickets from my mates dad who was a steward and sat in the old main stand (Pre-Carling stand for you youngsters) can't remember much of the game but was hooked ever since!
Tubbymofo Posted 16 September 2013 Posted 16 September 2013 Against Leeds in September 96 think we won 1-0
sorrelite Posted 16 September 2013 Posted 16 September 2013 April 1959. Leicester 0 Forest 1 Banks let one through his legs in the last minute. Never been since.
Loggy88 Posted 16 September 2013 Posted 16 September 2013 First game was Leicester 0 Barnsley 1, march 1994. Was 5. Then my next game, Robbie Fowler pulled his shorts down on Boxing Day the next season.
oxtonfox Posted 16 September 2013 Posted 16 September 2013 1974 I think vs Ipswich at Filbert Street. We won 5-0. It was very unusually a Saturday 7:30pm kick off and I don't think the FA ever allowed such a KO time on Saturday since.
Bramhall Fox Posted 16 September 2013 Posted 16 September 2013 20 Feb, 1980. Home vs Swansea. Geoff Scott's debut. Drew 1-1. Couldn't believe size and scale of pitch/ground. Obsessed ever since...
