1980 beat Preston 2 - 1. Was 8 yrs old. My dad new Bill Anderson so we sat with him in the press box at the back of the old main stand.

Before my time but did used to play cricket with David Nish in the 80's. Top bloke.

A friendly away at Notts County in the 60's was mine but my first home league game was against Wolves. Think it must have been the 1-1 draw in 72 although I always thought my first game was 0-0 in 70/71 but according to our history there was no such game so must be 1972.

Not to sure. It was probably a home game, but the first game I can really remember is Sunderland away in 1999 (lost 0-2, I think).

I was about nine. Travelled up from south Wales in 1992 and sat in the double decker. We beat Bristol City 2-1 and all I remember is Russell Osman on the cover of the program!

Also remember my mum and dad complaining that it cost 24quid for three people to watch a football game!!!!

Portsmouth play off home leg at forest. If I remember right it was there because the carling stand was being built.

Don't remember who it was against although they played in red stripe shirts or the final score just remember one of their players scoring with an overhead scissors kick from the edge of the kop penalty area.

 

Early 60s though.

first game at filbert street was march 4th 1975...i think..it was an facup replay between leeds and ipswich 0-0 then went to the same fixture 2 days later 2-3 to ipswich .....clive woods scored a screamer and i was hooked on the atmosphere so kept going back to watch leicester
