Given that Montenegro barely crossed the half-way line until the 65th minute they can have no complaints as regards the margin of their defeat. Dominated from start to finish. Poland have good attacking talent, it might benefit us if they do decide to attack... we have very quick and skillful players going forward so with the extra room they should see more chances to run at the backline ...

Harry - LCFC Posted 11 October 2013 Posted 11 October 2013 Good control of the play for pretty much the whole game. Didn't sit back or panic when they got one back which impressed me. Three goal win was fair IMO although I don't think they really deserved to score. Nice to see a bit of creativity going forward too.

Those calling Chiles remarks 'banter', sure, but you don't say it in a professional surrounding, he'll get in trouble for it, nowt to do with PC gone mad or anything.

Thought we played far better football, attacked them (as we should, because they were fvcking dreadful) and deservedly won about 4-1. The finishing was poor for the majority of the game and if you can do that and still score 4 then it's a very good sign. Delighted for Townsend too. Had a very good game. Good work from us and a repeat on Tuesday will be lovely.

Have to say Townsend didn't look like a potential England star of the future when on loan with us compared to Adam Johnson or Tom Cleverley so well done to him.

All that has happened is some idiots on twitter (all with very English names, obviously) have expressed faux outrage. No one has got sacked, the lefties haven't won anything and more than likely the absolute maximum we'll hear is a very unapologetic apology from Chiles. Move on.
