Suffice it to say, whatever the figures are it's too much these days for such an average footballer. I didn't say he was on 30k a week, someone else did.. I was pointing out the fact that common sense says that he wouldn't be dropping his wages by 20k just to get first team football...

Good from set pieces (even then his corners rarely cleared the first man) and would occasionally smack in a wonder goal....other than that. Surely a player of his age should be wanting to have got and played first team football a long time ago anyway.
