Haydos Posted 30 October 2013 Posted 30 October 2013 Some of the actual hate, not dislike or unfancy - but actual intense hate for a player who all in all hasn't been a bad servant for us is nothing shy of embarrassing. I said this a few weeks back. It's utterly bemusing but hardly surprising.
Meltonfossefox Posted 30 October 2013 Posted 30 October 2013 Sorry guys but I liked him....all the best mate
cuddly ken Posted 30 October 2013 Posted 30 October 2013 Oh no no no His presence excites me. Relax he's been offered a new deal.
dynamark Posted 30 October 2013 Posted 30 October 2013 Did anyone ever see him put his foot in or head the ball.good luck decent lad but we and he need to move on.
ScouseFox Posted 30 October 2013 Posted 30 October 2013 Always a big fan. Scored the best goal I've ever seen live. Scored that free kick against Forest. Was always the man when it came to penalties and until he got dropped was comfortably one of my favourite players. Ridiculous stick from 99% for not doing a lot wrong but I can't be arsed with that argument. League 1 should be a doddle for him if he's match fit and played correctly. Will be happy to see him scoring screamers every few weeks now he'll be back on a football pitch.
GingerrrFox Posted 30 October 2013 Posted 30 October 2013 Relax he's been offered a new deal. No he hasn't.
ousefox Posted 30 October 2013 Posted 30 October 2013 Definitely not good enough, but game me one of the best goals I've seen live vs Palace. Only ones that rival that were the goals at Hudds last year.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 30 October 2013 Posted 30 October 2013 Did anyone ever see him put his foot in or head the ball.good luck decent lad but we and he need to move on. I saw him score a ****ing outrageous backwards header against Scunny in one of the best individual displays I've ever seen during my City supporting lifetime. He scored a bloody outrageous effort against Palace in 09, too. That lob. His highlight reel wouldn't look too shabby on Youtube.
Simmo86 Posted 30 October 2013 Posted 30 October 2013 He'll always have a place in my heart for the free kick against Forest. Considering some of the shite we've had play for us over the last 10 years the stick he gets is laughable!
Bluetintedspecs Posted 30 October 2013 Posted 30 October 2013 Really don't get the hate for Gally, yes he can be a bit lightweight and he's at the tail end of his career but he's also been a pretty decent servant to the club with some magical goals. Personally wish him all the best.
Webbo Posted 30 October 2013 Posted 30 October 2013 Can't remember who he scored that hat trick against but it was the best I've seen by a city player. That audacious back header was brilliant. Away once against Preston (I think) when they had put the ball because one of our players was injured he kicked it backed to them and lobbed the keeper from the half way line, the ref disallowed it and made him take it again and he him the crossbar. Tremendous skill and great entertainment. EDIT;His hat trick was against Scuthorpe
LCFC FOX Posted 30 October 2013 Posted 30 October 2013 I would of wished him all the best if he wasn't so selfish and took a wage cut. The fact hes a player who doesn't care about playing football and just wants the money annoys me.
Corky Posted 30 October 2013 Posted 30 October 2013 He was lightweight, he did go missing at times, I'm sure he is a pain on Twitter, but he's scored some sublime goals that are worth remembering and was a reliable penalty taker. His time here is done and I wish him well for the future.
Tielemans63 Posted 30 October 2013 Posted 30 October 2013 Don't forget his missus lost twin babies. He was never the same after that - you wouldn't be would you?
MPH Posted 30 October 2013 Posted 30 October 2013 Did anyone ever see him put his foot in or head the ball.good luck decent lad but we and he need to move on. err he's a winger for us You don't get Garry wackets on the wing

foxer Posted 30 October 2013 Posted 30 October 2013 I hope he does well. Like people have said, scored a few crackers in his time. Sad really that he's being hated - not his fault that Sven have him a ridiculous contract and he's not good enough to get in our team. Has it been confirmed he's refused to take a wage cut? Would anyone here willingly take a wage cut? He's been though a hell of a lot and good luck to him at Preston.
Bayfox Posted 30 October 2013 Posted 30 October 2013 Isnt he openly a big fan of blackburn? And he thought he got booed here? May as well say he loves holidays in blackpool whilst he's at it. All the best tho gally. Decent servant to the club.
aussie-fox Posted 30 October 2013 Posted 30 October 2013 How dare he be happy to be paid well for doing nothing. I hate this argument. just because he is a footballer people think he has to approach the club and request a pay cut because he doesn't play. It wouldn't happen in any other profession so why do we expect it to happen in football? Our club was stupid enough to offer him the deal so put up with it
Dickov22 Posted 30 October 2013 Posted 30 October 2013 Relax he's been offered a new deal. Hahahaha hilarious. He hasn't
Dickov22 Posted 30 October 2013 Posted 30 October 2013 I don't know why anyone wouldn't wish Gally well. He's always given 100% for us and has scored some absolutely fantastic goals.
