I really really cannot understand anyone saying that Hobbs is not a good defender at this level. If so, you are talking utter crap. For Sven to have sold Hobbs to get in Mills was complete nonsense. What a turd Sven was.

Guest Col city fan Posted 9 November 2013 Posted 9 November 2013 Booing him is the issue. That's ridiculous. Jack Hobbs is one of the best defenders the club has had in years and for the Swede to let him go for the money he did is nothing short of a scandal. And he didn't want to leave.

Corky Posted 10 November 2013 Posted 10 November 2013 Played right into his hands. He's fine in the air and we let him have plenty of heading practice. We know that his weakness is pace and never really tested him out that way.
