I wonder what Alan thinks about the game on Saturday?

I'm surprised he hasn't gobbed off yet maybe even he knows what is coming

If only the first reply to this thread had stated:

"Jack Hobbs is an average championship defender who briefly exceeded both expectations and his own ability while playing for Leicester under Nigel Pearson. He had a few months where he completely fell off under Paulo and Sven and was sold for what some argue to be "peanuts" to a dull club called Hull. He has since proved himself to be what he was always destined to be (an average championship defender) in which time by some minor miracle Leicester have re-appointed Nigel Pearson and have signed some serious defenders who by all accounts are a different class."

I would've plus 1'd the **** out of them.

I loved those Mars Bars the Forest fans chucked at me.

In the interest of pedantry....they were boost bars.

Frankly giving them out free before the game was asking for trouble.

Now I'm pissed off, I didn't get a free boost bar. I'm going to be writing a very strong E-mail of complaint to Jim.

Tell him you think Season Ticket holders should get 6 free boost bars each and if not then you're not a true fan of Boosts

Oh right, sorry.

If it happened now Wee Billy would be asking why the board didn't stretch the resources for the more glamourous brand of chocolate bar.

He was a good player for us but only lasted a couple of seasons, so certainly not a "servant".  Thought he'd turn out to be superb but he didn't and so no regrets that he's moved on now, and wouldn't swap our current defence for him.  However, doesn't deserve a boo - a polite clap and then we move on and hopefully score 4 or 5 against him - I wish!

He was a good player for us. But there is a reason why Hull sold him- he can't hack it in the prem. And I think we have better now.

Polite applause for a couple of seconds and then it's time to move on.

I think many on here are barmy.

I believe a Morgan/Hobbs partnership last season and we'd have been in the Prem League already.

Keane was weak for a long time. It was just, as per usual, many didn't want to accept it, or to say it, or both.

Hobbs is good in the air and in the tackle but thats it. His pace is awful, think I could chance him over 100m

If Vardy plays he will rip him to shreads with his pace, as will dyer. I think the pace will be key on saturday, just a shame RDL isnt playing

Is this a wind up?  Keane is / was / will be a much better player than Hobbs.  Not even close.

Simply don't agree. I like my defenders defending, my attackers attacking. Jack Hobbs last season was a better defender than Keane was last season. Yes, with a Hobbs/Morgan partnership last season I think we'd have been promoted. I simply think Keane was too weak for many many weeks during the run up.

Sorry col ur way wrong on this one.

We had way more problems than a bad centre back pairing.

We were very lucky to end up how we did.

But hey lets not dwell on the past we are looking a whole lot better this season.

Lot of respect for him. Pleased he clapped us. Played very well. Showed you don't need pace to be decent because his reading of the game is brilliant.
