Mike the Metal Ed Posted 23 November 2013 Posted 23 November 2013 I would pay £40 for decent seats against a good Premier League team not away to Ipswich though, Championship to be fair £25 is far too much but I expect it and pay that If £25 is too much for the Championship, you'd pay literally twice as much to see us one level higher?
Unabomber Posted 23 November 2013 Posted 23 November 2013 I would say my limit is £25 but it depends on the game. You can't go to a whore house and say your limit is £25, because it depends on how attractive the slag is, the same applies with football.
allotment-fox Posted 23 November 2013 Posted 23 November 2013 I did an OAP ticket for today and this is the first time I have done that as I just look old just recon full price was over the top at Ipswich with all the add ons at away games Recon £20 - £25 is plenty as an away game regular
The Year Of The Fox Posted 24 November 2013 Posted 24 November 2013 being a under 18 it isnt too bad for me but still literally every penny i earn goes on football, and for what? to them im just a number. Im desperately searching for the thread where you claimed to be 40 odd
Leicester Lass Posted 24 November 2013 Posted 24 November 2013 You're what, 15? Shush. 41 actually, 1998 is the year my son was born. shush.
demon_dog Posted 24 November 2013 Posted 24 November 2013 Gone for£25. It's notjust the cost of the match ticket that has to be considered. It's all the add on's. Cost of travel, food and drink etc. Maybe £30 for local games.
Soup Posted 24 November 2013 Posted 24 November 2013 At the end of the day I think we're ripped off with everything nowadays.I hate paying over £30 but do and would pay more.Over the years I realised that I should do more of what I enjoy.Got rid of Sky,no expensive phone contract, all little things that really are bullshit to be honest.Gives me a bit more spare cash to pay the silly prices.
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 24 November 2013 Posted 24 November 2013 £25 has to be a limit. Although it depends on travelling. Living in Reading I would pay more. Watford, Bournemouth,QPR would be prepared to up the anti. Home games mind you cost a round fortune!! Me too. I live quite close to Reading, and likewise home games cost a great deal.
Russell sprout Posted 24 November 2013 Posted 24 November 2013 Noticed we are only charging burnley fans £15 adults,£1 kids for the fans fixture, same as our fans,I doubt very much there will be the same price structure when we visit turf moor?

Harry - LCFC Posted 24 November 2013 Posted 24 November 2013 Depends on the game. Would've paid fifty and more for Forest and Watford. Will be going to QPR which isn't cheap. Can't say I have a set limit really. Roughly £30 but that can move up or down.
Russell sprout Posted 24 November 2013 Posted 24 November 2013 Is that the mixed zone again? No mate, the price all round,

Can't say I have a set limit really. Roughly £30 but that can move up or down. Qpr is £25 & £30 adults(gold/silver tier depending) with under 8's free, quite surprised with that price.ild have thought £35 ir so?
jmono84 Posted 24 November 2013 Posted 24 November 2013 I have paid £30 for Forest away before I think, but I wouldn't pay that much for any game. So generally I'd say £25 but never more than £35. Though, in certain circumstances, there might be a game I just wouldn't want to miss. Spot on for me
Guest Col city fan Posted 24 November 2013 Posted 24 November 2013 £30 would be my limit, but only for certain matches. For example, I'd pay 30 to go to Loftus Road (London prices) but not to Huddersfield. I kinda work out what I think any away match is worth, in my own head, then see what the actual price is. If I think it's too much, for that fixture, I won't go. Eg. Someone was quoting £30 yesterday for Ipswich. I wouldn't pay that. And I wouldn't pay anything over £30 full stop.
fleckneymike Posted 24 November 2013 Posted 24 November 2013 It is the cost of the day rather than the ticket. £80 per away day is the limit
Bayfox Posted 24 November 2013 Posted 24 November 2013 It is the cost of the day rather than the ticket. £80 per away day is the limit train and underground 28 quid. Match ticket 30 quid. 1st round about 20 quid. my I'm struggling to live by that rule. I've earmarked about 200 for the 21st.
purpleronnie Posted 24 November 2013 Posted 24 November 2013 It used to be about 10 pints but not sure I could even do that thesedays.

I won over 200 quid in the casino after forest and still only got home with the money I went out with!!!
Dan Posted 24 November 2013 Posted 24 November 2013 It largely varies. Only in extreme circumstances will I pay £30 or over at this level - but Forest was an extreme circumstance. Only paid it there and at West Ham (really fancied it). Didn't bother with Ipswich as I knew they'd take the complete piss, we had Frankfurt v Schalke booked in July. It was brilliant and I can safely say every bit of praise the Bundesliga gets is justified. English football needs to seriously learn from them.
LCFC_FAN_1995 Posted 24 November 2013 Posted 24 November 2013 £25 or less is what i'll pay for, although i'm going Brighton which is costing me over £30 but already had the trains and hotels booked before prices came out. I felt robbed paying £23 to go pissing Ipswich away

QPR being early 'might' make it cheaper but as my train back is around 8 I doubt it very much.
