Happy Fox Posted 23 November 2013 Posted 23 November 2013 Maybe Schlupp on for Konch in the second to inject some attack down the wing. This is a must f
formidable1 Posted 23 November 2013 Posted 23 November 2013 You can only beat what's in front of you. West Brom won at Old Trafford... Is that because Manchester United are rubbish? No it doesn't. I would absolutely take a defeat as long as we played well...Something we are rarely doing at the moment
Libertine Dream Posted 23 November 2013 Posted 23 November 2013 Absolute mess of a first half, sound awful. Glad I returned my ticket at the moment
Unabomber Posted 23 November 2013 Posted 23 November 2013 No it doesn't. I would absolutely take a defeat as long as we played well...Something we are rarely doing at the moment Troll status confirmed.
Guest Col city fan Posted 23 November 2013 Posted 23 November 2013 All this 'we never do well at Ipswich' is of course, bollox, and an excuse. Regardless of where we are playing, we need to pick up away results.
formidable1 Posted 23 November 2013 Posted 23 November 2013 As someone else has said, we look lost far too frequently. Only when someone takes the lead and looks for outlets do the others start looking for the ball.
The Horse's Mouth Posted 23 November 2013 Posted 23 November 2013 Troll status confirmed. It was confirmed ages ago.
Lineker's Left Foot Posted 23 November 2013 Posted 23 November 2013 Again opposition first shot on target and it's a goal. This seems to happen a lot
Unabomber Posted 23 November 2013 Posted 23 November 2013 It was confirmed ages ago. Well that comment really confirmed it.
Father Ted Posted 23 November 2013 Posted 23 November 2013 Nugent doing fcuk all as usual by the looks of it *Cue a Nugent goal
Fox92 Posted 23 November 2013 Posted 23 November 2013 No it doesn't. I would absolutely take a defeat as long as we played well...Something we are rarely doing at the moment Well we weren't exactly hammered by Nottingham Forest. All they did was kick us, and managed to score two sloppy goals. A mistake at Doncaster cost us the game. As for Charlton, we were poor but the referee won the game.
kingfox Posted 23 November 2013 Posted 23 November 2013 This is where our downward spiral starts, and Drinkwater becomes shit. I can sense it, I can feel it on the horizon. Same old Leicester.
formidable1 Posted 23 November 2013 Posted 23 November 2013 All this 'we never do well at Ipswich' is of course, bollox, and an excuse. Regardless of where we are playing, we need to pick up away results. As said a few weeks ago, Leicester are a situation team....Never do well at Ipswich will continue for years to come...
Wycombe Fox Posted 23 November 2013 Posted 23 November 2013 Our strikers are biding their time. They're waiting for Gerken to get himself into a bit of a pickle
Happy Fox Posted 23 November 2013 Posted 23 November 2013 Need a half time bollocking come on City lets get a win
Fox92 Posted 23 November 2013 Posted 23 November 2013 Nugent doing fcuk all as usual by the looks of it *Cue a Nugent goal Our first/best chance came from a Nugent header which set up a move. There are ten other players out there. This isn't Dave Nugent FC. Should our goalkeeper have done better if he was beaten on his near post? Where is King again? What about Dyer? Vardy has had a chance?

A mistake at Doncaster cost us the game. As for Charlton, we were poor but the referee won the game. The referee wasn't playing as far as I can recall...
lgfualol Posted 23 November 2013 Posted 23 November 2013 Not enough Dyer. What does he do when I don't hear his name get called?
Fox92 Posted 23 November 2013 Posted 23 November 2013 The referee wasn't playing as far as I can recall... Borderline.
BoneDog Posted 23 November 2013 Posted 23 November 2013 We are going to make ourselves look very poor before Christmas. We will be in the 10-1 territory to get top two... You sound like you'll be delighted if that happens.
whoareyaaa Posted 23 November 2013 Posted 23 November 2013 Once. Wrong I can think of 4 of the top of my head M'boro Carlise Birmingham Derby
Happy Fox Posted 23 November 2013 Posted 23 November 2013 I guess it does highlight 4-4-2 is our best option but because we have no wing cover we cannot play it needs to change I expect NP to bring in a right winger
Guest Col city fan Posted 23 November 2013 Posted 23 November 2013 Well, here we are again. We need to up our game in the second half or it's gonna be another away loss. As someone said earlier and it's a valid point, it's ok having 3 up top but if there's no one to provide them with chances it won't work. King's and Drinkwater's assist stats are truly awful.
Matt Posted 23 November 2013 Posted 23 November 2013 Not enough Dyer. What does he do when I don't hear his name get called? Thing is, you're relying on Stringer and Young's commentry, is that really anything to go off?
Monsell1976 Posted 23 November 2013 Posted 23 November 2013 We need to get in at half time and take a good hard look at ourselfs, the team is a lot better than how they are performing, they have got themselves second in the table and don't want to let themselves down now. This week and last had a lot of what was wrong last season about it, come on lads we need to learn, teams won't let us play the football we want, but we need to learn how to beat teams when they don't. It's not all doom and gloom, we have a second half to get a result, but we have to be quicker going forward, pass it better and quicker, and not play into their hands by going long ball as it doesn't suit us and doesn't work.
