cityfanlee23 Posted 2 December 2013 Posted 2 December 2013 They'll be going out without any instructions, without any tactics, without any preparation and without a new manager to impress with the pessimistic fans on their backs from kickoff...against the best team in the league. If we don't dick all over them, it will be the freakiest of freak results. Think you have overexaggerated this a tad danizen, I don't think the players will turn up this morning and be told to go home because DJ was sacked, "Just do what you normally do lads" I'm pretty sure they have coaches at wednesday, and will have somebody calling the shots until a manager is found they will have a formation and a tactic to play too, they won't be fantastically prepped however they wont be any less prepped than they have been for 12 months. I fully expect us to hammer them that said, but they will be somewhat prepared!
Bert Posted 2 December 2013 Posted 2 December 2013 I think they'll be going out with a bit more sense of freedom.... It's clear they didn't want to play for Dave Jones.
Ric Flair Posted 2 December 2013 Posted 2 December 2013 They haven't got that bad a team to be fair and it wouldn't surprise me if they gave us a right good go. We just need to be up for it and play with our devastating counter attacking football and we should do alright. I really fancy another Vardy goal or two.
Koke Posted 2 December 2013 Posted 2 December 2013 The 4-1 drubbing they gave us at home couple of years ago is still fresh in my mind, so we got a few scores to settle with Wednesday. I hope we score 3 or 4. In reality I'd be happy with a 1-0 win with a goal off Nugent's arse.

Happy Fox Posted 2 December 2013 Posted 2 December 2013 Any win will do, and another Burnley and QPR slip up will be fantastic.
iamafox Posted 2 December 2013 Posted 2 December 2013 We all expect ourselves to win tomorrow but we don't know how Sheff Wed will react to this news. They might play a blinder, or they'll continue with a stinker. Hope it's the latter.
Nick Posted 2 December 2013 Posted 2 December 2013 I think if we are going on spirit and desire and team ethic, our players have just reached the top of the table and will want to stay there. Their players will be without a rudder or someone new to impress in the shop window. We'll smash it tomorrow.
THEBIGJOHNSTEADER; Posted 2 December 2013 Posted 2 December 2013 Think we'll hand out a lesson tomorrow - bukakke style - literally cum all over their faces - but the cum is our balls and their faces are the goal
tartanowl Posted 2 December 2013 Posted 2 December 2013 Dowie has never been the favourite. It was Pearce initially and now it is Colin who in my opinion will get the gig.

Corky Posted 2 December 2013 Posted 2 December 2013 Dowie has never been the favourite. It was Pearce initially and now it is Colin who in my opinion will get the gig. Guaranteed promotion with him in charge.
Isopen Posted 2 December 2013 Posted 2 December 2013 For those predicting Fryatt will come & haunt us, I think his loan finished on Saturday. In terms of the consequences on the result following sacking a manager, I seem to remember we had 2 people in temporary charge after one sacking and we lost 6 - 0

Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 2 December 2013 Posted 2 December 2013 Fixed. I think he meant to go even bigger than that
Ric Flair Posted 2 December 2013 Posted 2 December 2013 Neil Warnock Surely Mandaric wouldn't be that stupid? You lot must detest him more than we do?
Socks Posted 2 December 2013 Posted 2 December 2013 Sheffield wednesday are shit if we keep our current shape and mentality and shot efforts we will win if we dont do what we did against Millwall they will 'ave us 30 shots again please!
Harry - LCFC Posted 2 December 2013 Posted 2 December 2013 Dowie has never been the favourite. It was Pearce initially and now it is Colin who in my opinion will get the gig. United loving, Wednesday hating Colin you mean?
Bluetintedspecs Posted 2 December 2013 Posted 2 December 2013 United loving, Wednesday hating Colin you mean? I don't think either party would stoop so low......surely?
tartanowl Posted 2 December 2013 Posted 2 December 2013 Surely Mandaric wouldn't be that stupid? You lot must detest him more than we do? Was evens at VC this morning. Won't be popular. United loving, Wednesday hating Colin you mean? The very man.
THEBIGJOHNSTEADER; Posted 2 December 2013 Posted 2 December 2013 Who invited TBJS? What are you trying to say? That I'm some sort of sexual inadequate? I have a full and varied sex life thank you very much. I had full sex with a woman last night and I didn't have to break her jaw first. The future's bright, the futures TBJS
MrSpaM Posted 2 December 2013 Posted 2 December 2013 Can't see it being Warnock personally... "Despite having played for and managed 18 clubs, Warnock has always been a fan of club No. 16, Sheffield United. "I remember the day when they sold Brian Deane and Jan Aage Fjortoft," he once said. " It was like when President Kennedy got shot." Hence, Warnock dislikes the Blades' local rivals. Asked by FourFourTwo magazine what he would do if he ever became Sheffield Wednesday boss, he is said to have replied: "“As long as the whole of my salary was paid within 28 days, I would buy so many tosspots – although, come to think of it, their current squad would do – and **** ‘em up so badly. Then I’d retire to Cornwall and spend the rest of my life laughing my ****ing head off.†Warnock later claimed to have been misquoted, although that was slightly undermined when United chairman Derek Dooley apologised to the Owls."
ealingfox Posted 2 December 2013 Posted 2 December 2013 Someone called it already, early goal decides the matter I reckon. Don't think it is superstitious at all to be wary of newly managerless teams. If you looked at the stats in history I think you'd find a pattern. Lest we forget Wednesday smashed Reading, one of the league's in-form teams, 5-2 at home a few weeks ago, so there is ability in the side. All we can do is be organised and professional, and get at them straight away.

In fairness, he actually did that at Leeds.
