Sylvan Ebanks blake - to City? Gone to Ipswich

Recommended Posts

I've been informed by an extremely reliable source (an assistant manager of a Championship club) that Ebanks-Blake to Ipswich has been mutually agreed.

Even though this was already known by the looks of it.

I think we've dodged a bullet here tbh. He's been injured for over a year and therefore wont be match fit. We need someone who can make an immediate impact.

Yeah that's exactly what I'm saying

For the record when it's come to lcfc stuff I've only ever done a wind up once. Sharp wasn't.

Was told what I'd heard and relayed it in good faith. Copious amounts of times I've said so but still people think they know better than myself over the matter.

Arrrrgh the old not my fault Guv, just passing it on.

Er, what, you thought Bert was ACTUALLY Nige? Wow, Babs.

Of course it's only ever passing shit on. All these arguments do my swede. Any grown adult taking any "ITK" seriously (either way, for better or worse) needs words with themselves.

It's the nature of the sport that even the most honest and reliable rumour-mongers are only ever going to be passing on titbits in the faith their source's, source's, source got it right.

Take it for what it is, smile or shrug, and get on with your life.

Potential signing- "Yes, would definitely take him, adds something different and will score goals/get assists/defend like a rock/shag Nige's daughter."

Potential signing doesn't arrive- "Definitely dodged a bullet on this one lads."

Potential signing goes on to gain success at club he rejected Leicester for- "knew we should've signed him, I'm going to make a thread!"

But when 'ITK's' take themselves seriously like Bert clearly did judging by his comments about my Kebe joke then people are likely to take the Micky a bit more

Exactly how I feel about all this crap too Finnegan.

A one off joke is one thing but a one off joke amidst abuse from every angle probably isn't going to down like banter.

He probably does come across a bit serious on here at times but I don't think he's ever looked up himself or been a bit of an ego.

I'd probably be prickly too if a few mouthbreathers latched on to every post I made and took the piss.

lol jeeessus people need to lighten up. It was a joke.

If you can't take stick for getting it wrong maybe you shouldn't accept praise for when it goes right

Get a new joke and I'll gladly have a laugh.

The Kebe business is old and getting very boring.

Reading this thread through again makes me realise that Im happy to wait until something happens before I get interested in it.

I'm with you on this. Imagine how rubbish football would be if there were some guy who cropped up on a forum telling you results about four hours before the game happened (actually, in the Italian league there probably is), then every so often got one massively wrong just to fool you. It's a baffling fascination.

Didnt someone on here once tell the forum we were signing a new player, but it was merely a 'wind-up'?

(I cant remember who)

If so, I dont get the humour in that. In fact, its like something a kid might do.

Thank god we didn't buy ebanks-blake. Always overrated on here by some anyway. Today he was carrying some serious timber and couldn't stay on his feet. He makes GTF look like a whippet.

He has been out all season....what did you expect?

Looked no worse than vardy did last season.....

Maybe to look like a footballer and not fat, slow and not interested. Looked in awful shape, injuries or not.

How does a professional footballer get himself in 'good shape' after a broken ankle?

Giving his natural body shape anyway, the odds are he would be out of shape.

I cannot comment what he looked like as i was not at the game today, but kit sizes can also make a player look bigger than they are.

Before christmas Andy reid and chris cohen were on east mids today giving gifts to kids in hospital, reidy looked the thinner man.
