Racism on Bentley's roof

Recommended Posts

Now and again I look at this site. Currently, the amount of homophobic racist anti muslim stuff on there is a disgrace. Each to their own but this site needs vetting or closing,

Any links?

It is a Leicester City fans' site, although there is little love for the club and part of the Fans Online franchise. Just google Bentley's Roof Message Board. It is so bad I think the police should look at it. An exaggeration? Not when it is being done in the name of LCFC fans it is not.

I would hope the police have better things to do than be checking football websites for homophobic/racist comments.

That's why I started posting on here as I was a poster on BR (under a different username) for a few years but there are just so many dickheads on that forum and I must say the standard of poster is significantly higher on FT (no, really)

I know of it but I didn't know if you had any particular threads to demonstrate.

How about the thread by 'Dr Nick' on 'M&S' which contains:

'the filth that follow the Muslim faith are worthless '

'Muslims are the Worlds filth'

'Why don't all members of that faith F.... OFF ? (Edited to be less offensive.)

The BJS gives banter but neither he nor anyone elso on here would stoop this low.

What now? As it is being said in the name of Leicester fans - join me by complaining to Fans Online.

Would it be easier to just not look perhaps, if it bothers you that much?

I've had a look. The conversation is similar to what you'd hear in any working mans boozer.

What's next? Call in the Marines? The FBI? Stephen Fry & his army of serial Twitter complainers?

It is a board of a certain demographic, probably best to leave them to plan their next coach trip. If the mods don't care it's their call. Any attempt to strike debate would just be like whacking your head against a brick wall anyway.

I have never been there before but it does seem ridiculous the mods would not be deleting such comments and banning those who continuously post such BS.

A demographic of ageing, spleen-venting malcontents; the majority of which seem to hope we lose every week.

Some disgusting stuff on there but whenever I've looked the majority are arguing against whatever's been said by said racist cretins.

Do like a read of Bentleys sometimes, some great awayday memories etc on there.

BR comes across an elitist message board, they seem to look down on other Leicester fans. Not to mention we had a bad experience playing against them in the fundraiser day a few years ago. Especially me.

Let's not start that again you know I lose my temper quite easily when discussing that game.

Sorry what happened here?

They do, but I fear that doesn't mean they do it.

I'm hoping for a good story here.

In short, as as I say I do lose my temper when talking about this lol  they kicked the living fuk out of us, the ref was off Bentlys and was informed to let them get away with what they want, every time we went through on goal we got flagged, two of which we scored from. Ashley got his ribs broke and and fully grown man tried to strangle a 5'6 16 year old member of our side resulting in a 22 man brawl and they won 1-0 and celebrated like they'd won the FA cup final.

This all at a "charity day" full of children and two teams from Cov. was rather embarrassing to be a part of.
