foxes_rule1978 Posted 29 March 2014 Posted 29 March 2014 Its a shame we play on the Friday because we could win it on Saturday if QPR/Derby drop points. I blame Wellens...
Paulmot Posted 29 March 2014 Posted 29 March 2014 That was our first win on the road since October believe it or not - hence our mid-table position. seems strange you looked quite solid against us
Mark Oakley Posted 29 March 2014 Posted 29 March 2014 Party night against brighton then !!! COYB Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
MooseBreath Posted 29 March 2014 Posted 29 March 2014 I think we have enough points now and it's just a matter of time before it's mathematically confirmed, it'll happen in the next two to four games
weller54 Posted 29 March 2014 Posted 29 March 2014 Put a second -string out against Wigan.. Still get a result!!... Then a rested first 11 to maul Sheffield Wednesday on Friday!!!!
Guest Posted 29 March 2014 Posted 29 March 2014 I think we have enough points now and it's just a matter of time before it's mathematically confirmed, it'll happen in the next two to four games And yet yesterday you were the gloom merchant.
Happy Fox Posted 29 March 2014 Posted 29 March 2014 It would be such an odd feeling to get promotion when we are not even playing if that is a possibility could the club put the QPR game v Bournemouth away on the big screens?
MooseBreath Posted 29 March 2014 Posted 29 March 2014 And yet yesterday you were the gloom merchant. Hardly, I was saying qpr were still in with a shout. Which they were. Today's results mean we're five points better off than we could have been, which is a pretty big deal at this stage of the season. And it's not just the points but the nature of the results that suggests it's now in tha bag. QPR needed to hit serious form, we needed to lose form. It could have happened, but thankfully it looks pretty certain now that we've done enough.
tyneside fox Posted 29 March 2014 Posted 29 March 2014 2 more wins will do as qpr would need 22 goals to catch our goal difference..
Alpha Gifts & Awards Posted 29 March 2014 Posted 29 March 2014 I think we already have enough points too (85) ). 2 pts per game is usually promotion form (Burnley 79 from 39). So, QPR (3rd) have 39 from 70 - 7 games left = 14 pts, thus 84! Plus we still have to play them at home and they Bournemouth away. It would take some almighty odd results. All relax..................
woddyuk Posted 29 March 2014 Posted 29 March 2014 After todays results we need 7 points to be guaranteed promotion. 16 points guarantees the tilte P W D L F A PTS MAX POSSIBLE GAMES LEFT Leicester 38 26 7 5 72 35 85 109 8 Burnley 39 22 13 4 64 33 79 100 7 Qpr 39 20 10 9 48 33 70 91 7 Derby 39 20 9 10 68 45 69 90 7 Reading 39 16 12 11 60 46 60 81 7 Wigan 38 18 9 11 51 37 63 87 8 Forest 39 14 16 9 56 48 58 79 7 Ipswich 39 15 13 11 51 44 58 79 7
Pegosteve Posted 29 March 2014 Posted 29 March 2014 We could be there already taking the season averages QPR will make 83 points, taking the last 6 games QPR will get 82 points and if you take the last 7/8 games then QPR will get 83 points. All the above averages show us with 103/104 points. But as we say 7 points guarantees stand that can be a combination of us gaining those 7 or QPR/Derby dropping them! 1/750 to get promotion 1/50 to get the title after today. At last I think I can sleep without working out the permutations!! Happy Days!!!
veezeeblue Posted 29 March 2014 Posted 29 March 2014 Promotion at Brighton game ! (cant be confirmed at Sheff Wed game as QPR dont play til Sat) Title at QPR game ! Vardy´s Party .. right now !
Captain... Posted 29 March 2014 Posted 29 March 2014 Our superior goal difference disappears if we only get 6 points from the final games and QPR win every game, so we need 7 (we don't, we are up) to confirm it. All about the title now...
Foxes Blue Blood Posted 29 March 2014 Posted 29 March 2014 here is the form table for the last 6 games, interesting to see the position of both Bournemouth and Middlesborough who both play at home next Saturday, (Bournemouth v Qpr, Middlesborough v Derby) 1 Leicester City 2 Burnley 3 Bournemouth 4 Doncaster 5 Wigan Athletic 6 QPR 7 Ipswich Town 8 Watford 9 Reading 10 Middlesborough 11 Sheffield Wednesday 12 Bolton Wanderers 13 Barnsley 14 Derby County 15 Charlton Athletic 16 Brighton & Hove Albion 17 Blackpool 18 Blackburn Rovers 19 Leeds United 20 Millwall 21 Birmingham City 22 Nottingham Forest 23 Huddersfield Town 24 Yeovil Town Please don't laugh at number 22

Foxes Blue Blood Posted 29 March 2014 Posted 29 March 2014 Sorry couldn't help but laugh... Strange how lots of people on here also thought Derby would win all their remaining matches as well, 14th on form.

Sky sports news won't miss it though, the cameras will roll at the final whistle whether we're live of not. I see a draw, win and win against Brighton as the combination.
Paulmot Posted 4 April 2014 Posted 4 April 2014 I have stolen ASS's crystal ball the future is cloudy but a trident with 3 points emerges. The heads of Hollowwords, Mr Mills and Mr Beckford impaled upon them. Carrying the trident is NP, on their knees self flagellating with looks of adoration are Paulo Sauso and Svengalli. In the Misty depths I see ASS metamorphosing into ??????
