Plus it's quite nice to talk about and plan holidays while we're in the grim mid-January. Where is everyone heading? I've already sorted something out for Easter, heading to Stockholm, Oslo & Copenhagen and thinking of travelling a bit in Central Europe (Prague, Budapest, some places in Germany etc) in the summer. Any recommendations regarding Scandinavia?

Seriously though, if any FTers have been to any of these countries your tips on where to go and what to do would be greatly appreciated

Only place I have been to is USA, to about 15 cities, so you will have to narrow it down.

I've already managed to book it all Spending Easter weekend in Krakow, off to Glastonbury in June, a week in Cornwall in July, a long weekend in Finland in July for a stag do, a long weekend in Edinburgh in August for the Fringe and Commonwealth Games, a week in Majorca for my mum's 60th in September and three weeks in India in November. Better start saving...

German birds, although abit hairy are good fun also, I suppose the guys maybe, if that's what your into!! Hamburg is a great and easy place to get around, great tube network, we stayed in the a dump neat the gay district ad I think we played less then £12 a day!

Got a couple of stag do's this year in England a weekend a London and a weekend in Liverpool. Was hoping to save a load of money this year but it's looking doubtful.

ousefox Posted 17 January 2014 Posted 17 January 2014 Hopefully going to Seville for a week in Easter. Watch the Betis - Seville derby and their 'Semana Santa' holy week festival will be on which is meant to be interesting. Skint at the moment but fingers crossed I can get away in the Summer too.
