Larry_LCFC Posted 18 January 2014 Posted 18 January 2014 So its mid-January now, and I think we are reaching the point of in season now where it can really go two ways. Either we open up a commanding lead on the title, or the chasing pack start to catch us up. Looking at the next 5 games, there are some tough away games thrown in, but none of the teams are really having a ground-breaking season. So realistically, what would you like to take from the next 5 games? For me the two home games are must wins and I would like to see at least 4 points minimum from the 3 away games. On our day, we should win them all, but I think Forest away in particular may be a banana skin. What would you be happy with? Middlesbrough (H) Birmingham (A) Bournemouth (A) Watford (H) Forest (A)
elangLCFC Posted 18 January 2014 Posted 18 January 2014 Personally think we should take 13 points with the draw being Forest, but I'd probably accept 10/11
Brainy Posted 18 January 2014 Posted 18 January 2014 10pts minimum. Win the home games, would take 4 or 5 pts from the away games
stix Posted 18 January 2014 Posted 18 January 2014 Boro 3pts Brum 3pts B'mouth 1pt Watford 3pts Forest 3pts
Lobsterboyuk Posted 18 January 2014 Posted 18 January 2014 Six wins in a row, statistically that's getting close to the club record so would expect us to drop a few points with a wobble and maybe let QPR and Burnley back into the championship mix but then hopefully come back into form and see us through it.
Guest ttfn Posted 18 January 2014 Posted 18 January 2014 Not another of these threads, FFS. And if somebody offered me 9 points from those games now is take it. 11 and I'd snap your arm off
sylofox Posted 18 January 2014 Posted 18 January 2014 Say it to my face. Not getting carried away and putting a balance on them that are. ASS, is that you? I'd say 10.
lavrentis Posted 18 January 2014 Posted 18 January 2014 Middlesbrough (H) - WIN Birmingham (A) - WIN Bournemouth (A) - WIN Watford (H) - WIN Forest (A) - WIN
sylofox Posted 18 January 2014 Posted 18 January 2014 Middlesbrough (H) - WIN Birmingham (A) - WIN Bournemouth (A) - WIN Watford (H) - WIN Forest (A) - WIN Leave the weed alone.
GingerrrFox Posted 18 January 2014 Posted 18 January 2014 Middlesbrough - Win Birmingham - Win Bournemouth - Draw Watford - Draw Forest - Win
Guest shearfox Posted 18 January 2014 Posted 18 January 2014 What is 5 * 3? That is what we should and will get...
sdb Posted 18 January 2014 Posted 18 January 2014 We always do shite after these threads. 1 game at a time...
ashfosse Posted 18 January 2014 Posted 18 January 2014 think we'll lose at forest. boro will be tricky as their form has really picked up, although we are the dogs at home. brum will be similar to today i think, will need to grind out. wouldnt be disappointed with 9pts, 10pts would be good. burnley have qpr to play soon aswell. WYS

sylofox Posted 18 January 2014 Posted 18 January 2014 possible imo Also possible I will win the lotto in that space of time. But very very unlikely
Guest kristianity77 Posted 18 January 2014 Posted 18 January 2014 Middlesbrough (H) WIN Birmingham (A) DRAW Bournemouth (A) WIN Watford (H) WIN Forest (A) LOSE 10 points.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 18 January 2014 Posted 18 January 2014 Probably get eleven that should be bare minimum imo. Very winnable really
Ian W LCFC Posted 18 January 2014 Posted 18 January 2014 Middlesbrough (H) Should win this one. Especially with it being at home. I have a feeling they will try and park the bus though. WIN. Birmingham (A) These are 17th in the table. Realistically we should win, but I am sure it won't be that easy. Similar to today's game I think. DRAW. . Bournemouth (A) These are 16th in the table but as they are at home they will try and play their football. We usually perfom better agsainst those sorts of teams. WIN. Watford (H) Really tough game I think. They aren't doing too well this season but they will be up for this one. DRAW. Forest (A) This will be the toughest of the lot I think. They are doing well at the moment and they beat us at home a few weeks ago. I think we will be well up for this and get revenge. WIN. So that's 11 points out of 15. That would be a very good return. But I would proably be quite happy with 9 points.
