Socks Posted 27 January 2014 Posted 27 January 2014 I watch this closely as my Grandad was a big Hibs fan but slowly starting to be uninterested in this (Like F1) as Celtic win it every year, just look at the league table now 15 points ahead with 60 points form 22 games (2.72 a game) and they have games in hand too. They should just give them the trophy every year on the 1st Jan, would be easier i actually think its the most boring league in the world zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
NathanBlueFox Posted 27 January 2014 Posted 27 January 2014 agree, crap now rangers are not in it... Celtic should be allowed in the Premier League, but if they do they should start from League 2 and work there way up. if Cardiff and Swansea are allowed then so should Celtic.

Surely showing the championship results would make more sense?
ScouseFox Posted 27 January 2014 Posted 27 January 2014 Scotland is a depressing place, why should their football be any different.
NathanBlueFox Posted 27 January 2014 Posted 27 January 2014 No, no they shouldn't. Why do bbc news show the SPL results in England? Corky Posted 27 January 2014 Posted 27 January 2014 agree, crap now rangers are not in it... Celtic should be allowed in the Premier League, but if they do they should start from League 2 and work there way up. if Cardiff and Swansea are allowed then so should Celtic. Cardiff and Swansea joined the English League as there was no professional Welsh league, and still isn't. Celtic are part of a professional league so you can't just bring them, you'd have to give the option of all SPL clubs to join the English league.
Langston Posted 27 January 2014 Posted 27 January 2014 The league wasn't exactly world beating when Rangers were in it but since their relegation it's become a farce. Shame really as there's genuine talent at sides like Dundee United, Hibs and St. Johnstone but it makes for a dull campaign when the winner is a nailed on certainty and means such talents don't get as much attention as they would in a more attractive division.
Mike the Metal Ed Posted 27 January 2014 Posted 27 January 2014 but if Swansea and Cardiff are why not Celtic? they should have the option, but go straight into league 2. Why should Celtic come into our system and **** things up for a Conference team that's been scrapping to get into the Football League?
AndWhat? Posted 27 January 2014 Posted 27 January 2014 Has always been boring, even when Rangers were in it. Almost as boring as La Liga.
The Horse's Mouth Posted 27 January 2014 Posted 27 January 2014 agree, crap now rangers are not in it... Celtic should be allowed in the Premier League, but if they do they should start from League 2 and work there way up. if Cardiff and Swansea are allowed then so should Celtic. Utter moron
Libertine Dream Posted 27 January 2014 Posted 27 January 2014 Scotland is a depressing place, why should their football be any different. Sums it up
Mack Posted 27 January 2014 Posted 27 January 2014 Scottish Football has always been shit for me. In the words of Dr Dave Love "Low quality Football" However the self inflicting wound the bitter ignorant SPL club chairmen inflicted on themselves by expelling Rangers just about finished it off. The only 'good' thing the SPL had going for it was the old firm. Now no one could give two hoots and it's by a large and one team league. I'd wager the teams in the lower half of the SPL would struggle in our league 1.
Uncle Albert Posted 27 January 2014 Posted 27 January 2014 Celtic coming to England has never been discussed on here before..
Dan Posted 27 January 2014 Posted 27 January 2014 The SPL has over-achieved as a league for absolutely years. Their population is about a tenth of ours. Expectations shouldn't be high of it.
Uncle Albert Posted 27 January 2014 Posted 27 January 2014 The SPL has over-achieved as a league for absolutely years. Their population is about a tenth of ours. Expectations shouldn't be high of it. When has the SPL ever over-achieved? Rangers getting to a Europa League Final a few years ago and Celtic beating Barcelona?
AndWhat? Posted 27 January 2014 Posted 27 January 2014 When has the SPL ever over-achieved? Rangers getting to a Europa League Final a few years ago and Celtic beating Barcelona? Even that's overachieving!
lavrentis Posted 27 January 2014 Posted 27 January 2014 Old Firm is just boring now, holding Scottish football back
Kitchandro Posted 27 January 2014 Posted 27 January 2014 agree, crap now rangers are not in it... Celtic should be allowed in the Premier League, but if they do they should start from League 2 and work there way up. if Cardiff and Swansea are allowed then so should Celtic. erm, no. They made their bed. It's not everyone else's problem that they play in a shit league. And it's not the fault of the smaller Scottish clubs either, why should Celtic be allowed to join but not them?
Guest MattP Posted 27 January 2014 Posted 27 January 2014 agree, crap now rangers are not in it... Celtic should be allowed in the Premier League, but if they do they should start from League 2 and work there way up. if Cardiff and Swansea are allowed then so should Celtic. Bollocks to that. Imagine having that lot down on mass booing remembrance day minute silences and the national anthem if they got to Wembley. Let them rot.
Super_horns Posted 27 January 2014 Posted 27 January 2014 I wonder if the Celtic players enjoy it that much or look to move on maybe to more competitive leagues?
isaidno Posted 27 January 2014 Posted 27 January 2014 Going to be even worse next season with Hearts going down. No Glasgow or Edinborough derbies
DennisNedry Posted 27 January 2014 Posted 27 January 2014 Bollocks to that. Imagine having that lot down on mass booing remembrance day minute silences and the national anthem if they got to Wembley. Let them rot. Why would they ruin remembrance day silences?
Guest MattP Posted 27 January 2014 Posted 27 January 2014 Why would they ruin remembrance day silences? Just Google Celtic Remembrance day.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 27 January 2014 Posted 27 January 2014 Celtic SHOULD NOT be allowed in the English leagues unless they want to start right at the bottom of the football pyramid. Why should they get to kick another team out?
