Lobsterboyuk Posted 28 January 2014 Posted 28 January 2014 If we carry on with some of that second half play against Boro we should have enough to win it. Been a long winning run though and surely a blip is overdue. BCFC 1-2 LCFC, 12, 957
Solihullfox Posted 28 January 2014 Posted 28 January 2014 Looks like a cold and potentially very wet night on what is usually a dodgy pitch - will be all about adapting to conditions.
Babylon Posted 28 January 2014 Posted 28 January 2014 Looks like a cold and potentially very wet night on what is usually a dodgy pitch - will be all about adapting to conditions. Which we aren't great at.
phillo Posted 28 January 2014 Posted 28 January 2014 feeling confident about this were on fire st the moment and now enough quality on the bench new lcfc record
Hirsty The Blue 94 Posted 28 January 2014 Posted 28 January 2014 Kasper RDLWesWasKonchMahrezKingDrinkwaterKnockyVardyWood (if fit)Rest a few whilst keeping it very strong. 1-1 Burke to score for them as he always causes us trouble, Knocky for us.
harpendenfox Posted 28 January 2014 Posted 28 January 2014 No reason to think we won't play well, but sooner or later those fine margins will work against us, so a speculative 30 yarder that nestles in the top corner, a dodgy back pass into the path of their striker (although we tried that at Leeds) an unnecessary sending off (I'm not looking at you Marcin....) Being over confident just does not sit well with me after 40 years as a City fan. Still, even if it doesn't go our way tonight, I have every confidence that it would only be a temporary blip

Happy Fox Posted 28 January 2014 Posted 28 January 2014 Kasper De Laet Morgan Wasyl Konchesky Knockaert Drinkwater James Dyer Vardy Nugent Subs: Schlupp, Mahrez, Hammond, King, Logan, GTF and Phillips.
Libertine Dream Posted 28 January 2014 Posted 28 January 2014 Have a horrible feeling it will be like Wednesday away
Bluetintedspecs Posted 28 January 2014 Posted 28 January 2014 We have a theme of "twitchy top of the table syndrome" going on.Heard it last three games especially and any nerves from the fans hasn't prevented the lads equalling the several record.Tonight will be a new several + 1 record. Yes it's a potential banana skin but I'm fairly confident our players won't be complacent or twitchy tonight. Poor Gazza the deluded bluenose will be left jerking off over his pictures of Kenny Burns to remind him of the times when they were the 3rd biggest club in Birmingham and had some reasonable support.
Guest Col city fan Posted 28 January 2014 Posted 28 January 2014 I think we'll win.. 2-1 in a scrappy contest. What I don't get are those clamouring to change a winning side. Eg. 'Bring King in'.. Why? If we win this, we go even further clear and if QPR then go on to beat Burnley, it becomes even more a two horse race. No, stick with the same 11 (if fit), go for the jugular and put the chasers under even more pressure.
foxfanazer Posted 28 January 2014 Posted 28 January 2014 Agree in some ways Col but I don't think including King makes us a hell of a lot weaker. No doubt Drinkwater amd James have proven they have a great partnership but I'd be confident King is more than capable of doing a job against Brum. Squad management is something to think about in these final few months

Well just a thought anyway.
foxfanazer Posted 28 January 2014 Posted 28 January 2014 Obviously we want our best 11 players out there every game but sometimes they need a rest. I'm not saying that they have shown signs of fatigue but the games have been coming thick and fast.
Guest Col city fan Posted 28 January 2014 Posted 28 January 2014 No mate. Would you REALLY break up the central midfield partnership at the moment? Who would you drop and why? If James.... well he's been excellent recently. Its a points business. Play your best team, win, get the points on the board and let the rest chase. 3 points now is the same as three points in April/May. Unless forced to, no way would I change that central midfield pairing. Why?
Guest Col city fan Posted 28 January 2014 Posted 28 January 2014 You counting your chickens Col. Qpr may beat Bolton tonite and Burnley do Brighton? Well just a thought anyway. Quite right buddy. What I meant is that we'd stay clear.
foxfanazer Posted 28 January 2014 Posted 28 January 2014 If they were struggling with fatigue then I would, without a doubt. A 50% fit James isn't going to do as well as a 100% King. If they and Nige feel that they can continue to play every game and keep up their high levels of performance then of course I wouldn't change it
MPH Posted 28 January 2014 Posted 28 January 2014 I'm not going. There's nothing to whet my lips about it. It's gonna rain, it's gonna be windy, £30 a ticket, and the FA want Leicester to win. There's nobody in the Leicester team you'd be excited to watch.....Kevin Nugent is about the most famous and you wouldn't blink if you saw him working in Rileys Snooker club. Plus every coin I take from my children's inheritance and put into the club, I help the Chinese kill the club! No sorry! I'll have a lie in bed I think. You sound like a really loyal fan....
MC Prussian Posted 28 January 2014 Posted 28 January 2014 You sound like a really loyal fan.... No, he's just a more articulate WUM.
Mark_from_USA Posted 28 January 2014 Posted 28 January 2014 They are going to have to dig deep for this one. It will test their motivation somewhat if its bad weather away against a middling opponent. I'm looking for a Millwall away kind of performance perhaps. Leicester 2-1 for me,with a midfielder scoring at least one.
MattyFromLE Posted 28 January 2014 Posted 28 January 2014 Kasper De Laet Morgan Wasyl Konchesky Knockaert Drinkwater James Dyer Vardy Nugent Subs: Schlupp, Mahrez, Hammond, King, Logan, GTF and Phillips. This is what I would go for.

Gary Rowett Posted 28 January 2014 Posted 28 January 2014 You sound like a really loyal fan.... Maybe if my club threw £15m at the team every transfer window....like other clubs *ahem* *ahem* , then there'd be something to get excited about But who wants to watch a team of free transfers from League 2 playing in a freezing cold, empty stadium as the wind swirls as clubs like Leicester are winning 3-0 and 350 foxes fans are 'ole-ing' in the corner as players with names like 'Schloop' are doing flicks and tricks and passing the ball around us. Not for me thanks. I'll come back when the good times return

You want nothing to do with the club when times are hard but when everything looks good you'll go back? Glad we have that cleared up then!
