Wink Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 Considering all the madness that's happened at Leeds tonight. Sacking their Manager, refusing bids for their top goalscorer of a reported £4 million, and then appearing on sky sports news saying if he knew the manager was going to get sacked then he would have a big decision to make regarding his future. Pretty much enticing clubs to bid for him.. How would you feel if this happened to us? Would you blame the player for wanting out? Discuss...
Vlad the Fox Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 Should have kept his mouth shut instead of pandering to sky's ridiculous deadline day programming. Having said that I wouldn't blame him for wanting out leeds are a mess.
Happy Fox Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 Ross McCormack â€@Rossmccormack44 1m Lets all be united tomorrow. An unreal atmosphere and 3 points and move this great club forward. See yous tomorrow! Trying to save his bacon bit too late..
sylofox Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 Not going to help him with whoever comes in. And I thought panto season was over.

See yous tomorrow! Trying to save his bacon bit too late.. 'Ah ****, no ones come in for me. Better get on twitter...'
Fox92 Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 Well if I was a professional I wouldn't say stuff like that on a mass media.
Wink Posted 31 January 2014 Author Posted 31 January 2014 That's not what I was asking... If one of our players did this, how would you react to it? Would you forgive and forget because he's your best player and he's trying to save his bacon now?
johnny the fox Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 Leeds united are a joke club... their fans are so deluded its laughable.. McDermott is a scapegoat for the clowns above him....I Love it ..ha ha..
Hungry Hungry Fox Posted 31 January 2014 Posted 31 January 2014 If our club was in the mess that Leeds are in I would begrudgingly understand players wanting to look after their own interests
SystonFox Posted 1 February 2014 Posted 1 February 2014 Someone post the YouTube video of them dancing to the "Brian McDermott song" in our away concourse smashing a piece of metal advertising boards against the ceiling. I could do with a laugh
Leeds Fox Posted 1 February 2014 Posted 1 February 2014 As far as I'm aware, he made a statement prior to McDermott's sacking, pledging his future to Leeds and singing McDermott's praises. Then came the sacking, then came the 'big descision' outburst on Sky. Apparently 6 clubs went in for him after that.
I blame Wellens Posted 1 February 2014 Posted 1 February 2014 Always great to see the scum in trouble
VLC86 Posted 1 February 2014 Posted 1 February 2014 As far as I'm aware, he made a statement prior to McDermott's sacking, pledging his future to Leeds and singing McDermott's praises. Then came the sacking, then came the 'big descision' outburst on Sky. Apparently 6 clubs went in for him after that. His pledge to the club was very carefully worded. Something along the lines of playing for McDermott. Sounded to me like he caught wind of his sacking and saw this as an opportunity to get the fans on his side. Then came the sacking and he's on sky sports news? Didn't look like he was trying to engineer a move away and save face with the fans at all. He probably made the call to them from a carpark somewhere in Cardiff
Hungry Hungry Fox Posted 1 February 2014 Posted 1 February 2014 Leeds fans I know say they wouldnt blame him for wanting out now
Leeds Fox Posted 1 February 2014 Posted 1 February 2014 Leeds fans I know say they wouldnt blame him for wanting out now By the sounds of it, the fans want out! You know it's bad when you want Ken Bates back in your club.
ousefox Posted 1 February 2014 Posted 1 February 2014 Leeds fans I know say they wouldnt blame him for wanting out nowThat's similar to what I've heard. They can't believe what's going on.
Raj Posted 1 February 2014 Posted 1 February 2014 Bad news for Leeds is great news for me...i Fcuking loathe them...hope thus spells the start of a winless streak for them resulting in delegation...oh Dont forget they are champions of Europe Dont you know!!!!!!
Langston Posted 1 February 2014 Posted 1 February 2014 Ross McCormack â€@Rossmccormack44 1m Lets all be united tomorrow. An unreal atmosphere and 3 points and move this great club forward. See yous tomorrow! Trying to save his bacon bit too late.. How so? Just because he might have had his head turned / be disappointed with the ludicrous sacking of a manager he clearly has a good relationship with, doesn't mean he doesn't like the club. People read so much into ****ing tweets.

Football is a crazy world!!
