GiantDave Posted 8 February 2014 Posted 8 February 2014 I was thinking today about the time Leicester played Tottenham in the cup and Gary Lineker was the presenter. He said "We don't do bias here at the bbc." then the camera zoomed out and the studio was full of Leicester stuff. It was a legendary moment that got me buzzing for the game. I can't find the video though, I wonder if anyone knows where I can watch the video? Thanks for your help.
Craig Posted 8 February 2014 Posted 8 February 2014 Weren't it Blackburn away? Not 100% sure as I was at both, but I seem to recall people talking about it being that?
Tom17LCFC Posted 8 February 2014 Posted 8 February 2014 Yeah fairly certain it was Blackburn away. Quality from him though
GiantDave Posted 8 February 2014 Author Posted 8 February 2014 Ok maybe I am wrong about the game, but does anyone have the video?
dorsetboy Posted 8 February 2014 Posted 8 February 2014 been trying to find this myself for ages just seems it not out there unless someone has a old video tape with it on who could upload it
Jimothy Posted 8 February 2014 Posted 8 February 2014 I'm tempted to tweet the man himself, just to find out for sure whether it was Spurs or Blackburn. Just might be difficult condensing the question into 140 characters.
Fox92 Posted 8 February 2014 Posted 8 February 2014 It was Blackburn. I'm sure he had LCFC glasses on as well. Want the video, or even pictures, but can't find it.
shailen Posted 8 February 2014 Posted 8 February 2014 It was Leicester vs spurs, hammond, Hughes and De vries scored as we won 3-2 from being 2-0 down. I remember Gary linekar having banter with Alan Hansen about being a Leicester fan....great game.
49er Posted 8 February 2014 Posted 8 February 2014 On Match of the Day a few seasons, a fox ran across the pitch at Craven Cottage. Gaz said ' that's the only chance we have of seeing foxes in the premier league I'm afraid'
AndWhat? Posted 8 February 2014 Posted 8 February 2014 It was 100% against Blackburn in the cup. Tried to find the footage but no luck.
Jimothy Posted 8 February 2014 Posted 8 February 2014 He didn't do it twice did he? Just that half (including me) are 100% it was Spurs and the other half are 100% it was Blackburn.
ScouseFox Posted 8 February 2014 Posted 8 February 2014 Gary gets his regular mention of Shearer being a cúnt in tonight. Well done Gary.
Lionator Posted 8 February 2014 Posted 8 February 2014 Gary gets his regular mention of Shearer being a cúnt in tonight. Well done Gary. What did he say?
Raw Dykes Posted 8 February 2014 Posted 8 February 2014 I'm pretty sure it wasn't that Spurs match. I saw it and don't remember that bit. For the Tottenham game he said something like, 'The world's greatest two clubs go head to head.'
ScouseFox Posted 8 February 2014 Posted 8 February 2014 What did he say? Shearer said something about Toure "lashing out" at van Wolfswinkel. He said "it was hardly lashing out, he didn't really touch him, barely a flick". And Gary replied saying how Shearer would know all about lashing out, he remembers him at Filbo a few years ago, talking about the Lennon incident haha. Shearer shut up sharpish as always.
Aus Fox Posted 9 February 2014 Posted 9 February 2014 100% it was Blackburn away, I was at the spurs game so wouldn't of seen it, where as I remember watching the Blackburn game on TV. Unless he did it twice? But with his spurs connections I couldn't see him doing it against spurs.
Rincewind Posted 9 February 2014 Posted 9 February 2014 There is someone on Leicester market I have seen with old LCFC videos. If you know the year he may be able to get it.
eye666 Posted 9 February 2014 Posted 9 February 2014 100% it was Tottenham at home in the cup when De Vries lashed in the winner.
