DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 12 February 2014 Posted 12 February 2014 Spot on DT, what's your reaction to the reaction about the reaction to Cols thread? Well, I have a very reactive reaction, to any reaction, that receives.a reaction to reactive reactions that have been met with a positive reaction to a reactive response from a negative reaction. Hope you see what I mean.
dynamark Posted 13 February 2014 Posted 13 February 2014 Other teams have done a bit of homework in terms of double up on the wingers.look at the space Konch had against Watford how many times did Kasper throw out to him on the halfway in particular second half. We(pearson)need a plan B for that set up. Hopefully Forest will be a bit more attack minded but Pearson needs to find a way to bring LLoyd and Knocky into it in those circumstances.Switching them is one option.V Watford Knocky came inside quite a lot of his own desire to get involved but Lloyd is not really that type of player on the left. Good effort for the draw just thought we lacked a touch of penetration through the centre but a nice rest should help

Good effort for the draw just thought we lacked a touch of penetration through the centre but a nice rest should help If other teams are doubling up against our wingers, that leaves i) unmarked city players in the middle of the park and ii) more space in the middle of the park. De Laet's goal against Derby is a classic example of how to counter it, the amount of space he had when he cut inside gave him a clear run at goal. Also good examples at Bournemouth and Millwall away, where we created several one on ones with their GK as the opposition players got dragged out wide and we were able to take advantage of both the space in the middle and Vardy's pace to play through balls straight past their CBs. Hell even GTF found himself clean through at Milwall. We already have a Plan B and it's working just fine.

Oxfordfox83 Posted 13 February 2014 Posted 13 February 2014 It seems strange that people are moaning now (I am certainly not, only about not having anything to moan about) - I was only moaning because we have seemed incapable of playing like Wenger's Invincibles for much of the Pearson second spell - I am very special and perceptive, so am alone in noticing we are crap when everyone else sees progress, and am especially unhappy that Pearson has been so successful in clearing up the incredible dross accrued by the cretin Sven, though I still think he's a sexy Swedish beast. I wish I could be happy about being wrong in just about every post I've ever made but I just can't do it Fixed.

foxfanazer Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 I know some may have been joking but last nights match thread really was embarrassing. Season over, We're showing we're not good enough to go up and more tripe like these. BREAKING NEWS: LEICESTER CITY ARE INFACT NOT BARCELONA! ! We won't win every game or dominate every opposition. Players will make mistakes and miss chances. These players that get slagged off during the games are the same players that have got us in to this wonderful position. Show some appreciation please! If we do go up I shudder at the thought of some of you when we are getting 5 put past us at the Etihad and Stamford Bridge etc.

You better leave that comparison with Barcelona to Nottingham Forest fans!
Guest Col city fan Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 Same thing again last night. Some embarrassing comments in the match thread. Now is the time to be chilled and to keep the belief going.
Iwan is a Welshman Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 Followed by yet another thread calling for Nuge to be dropped. Every game either him or Dyer gets it. I despair.
Brooksy Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 Same thing again last night. Some embarrassing comments in the match thread. Now is the time to be chilled and to keep the belief going. Most of which were from the same person. Really was embarrassing considering we were only a goal down and away to one of the form teams. I noticed they were nowhere to be seen when we equalised.
NewburyFox Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 Followed by yet another thread calling for Nuge to be dropped. Every game either him or Dyer gets it. I despair. Nuge was absolutely shocking yesterday, I'm not surprised people are calling for someone else to have a chance. Dyer was anonymous.
goose2010 Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 You think it was bad on here you should read some of the comments on Facebook when LCFC official put some update up was embarrassing we are top and playing the best football i've seen in a long time and people saying the team needs freshening up with loan players? Yeah because that has worked perfectly with QPR.........
Happy Fox Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 Nuge was absolutely shocking yesterday, I'm not surprised people are calling for someone else to have a chance. Dyer was anonymous. Was average imo that scuffed chance should of scored really and he knows it but he will get back soon on the goals , but Dyer was shockingly bad and needs to get his arse into gear asap.
Socks Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 I must admit i was one of those wankers last night, not normally like that and had a few too many sherberts and got carried away with it being Forest and couldnt stand to lose

No, you're both right. We should start dismantling the team that has put us 8 points clear and is unbeaten in twelve league games. This Leicester team is the best in ten years. That's unarguable - the league table doesn't lie. Not a single one of them can be described as shocking.

Where did I say about dismantling the team? just pointing out that one or two players are playing below par, and I hope they can turn their form round which I am sure they will.

I didn't suggest that we dismantle the team, I merely said that Nugent was rubbish yesterday, which he was, and that Dyer wasn't involved at all, which he wasn't. I didn't say they were shocking players. De Laet perhaps had his poorest game for us yesterday, getting turned inside out by Paterson several times, but I don't want him dropped. Not sure why you're trying to make out I said something which I didn't.

Sorry, I was branding you with some of the other comments I've seen on the board about dropping players. I agree, I don't think either Nuge or Dyer were at their best last night but it just gets frustrating coming on this board when we're doing so well and still seeing people being so negative. Talking about dropping players is premature. It's these guys who have put us in such a great position. It just gets frustrating
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 We all knew we would have a bad patch, if that's what you can call the last couple of games. Let's have without losing, and I will be well pleased. Every team in the country has one or two. Another win under our belts, and off we go again at full charge. Come on geezers some, let's kick ass.

I was branding you with the posts I've seen elsewhere on this forum calling for people to be dropped - which are just daft.
harpendenfox Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 So, the day after the night before, would Foxestalkers 'Tincy' and 'Pickog' like to reflect on their posts from last night's thread, or are you simply supporters from other clubs with a limited amount of options of an evening?
ARTY_FOX Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 If nugent and dyer are not at their best.... how many clear are we going to be when they hit form?
