The Doctor Posted 11 February 2014 Posted 11 February 2014 Heart says Burnley win, head says Bolton to win. They've got to win a game again sooner or later.... Why would you want a Burnley win? Bolton are relegation candidates at present - they're not a threat to our promotion hopes
lancyclaret Posted 11 February 2014 Posted 11 February 2014 Bolton are struggling but they have only lost 3 out of 14 home matches - NINE draws!!!!!. As a Burnley fan, I'd take a a draw and a win at Bournemouth on Saturday (but Eddie Howe will have the Cherries up for it). I'm more concerned about our next two home matches (Forest on Feb 22 and Derby on March 1)......Six points from those two games and I might think we have a chance of 2nd.
Dan Posted 11 February 2014 Posted 11 February 2014 2 wins, 9 draws and 3 defeats bloody hell. I seem to remember them drawing pretty much every time I've seen their result at home.
foxes1988 Posted 11 February 2014 Posted 11 February 2014 I don't know why you Leicester fans are remotely worried about how Burnley do against Bolton or Forest, Derby...etc. Burnley are 11 points behind and there is no way we can make that up in the last 17 games even if we beat you at Turf Moor. I'll be amazed if we can finish second - Derby have such an easy run-in with 11 of their last 16 games against bottom half teams. I have been a Burnley fan for 40 years plus and I cannot remember us EVER winning at Bolton. Draw at best for me and I hope they don't allow Ings to take any more penalties. We get our first in about 15 games and Ings misses:( Burnley will finish 2nd behind us. Don't know why your not more confident to be fair you where the best team we've played, out of Forest, Derby, QPR, Reading and yourselves. Then again if it wasn't for our current points buffer i think i wouldn't be that confident either.
Bert Posted 11 February 2014 Posted 11 February 2014 Why would you want a Burnley win? Bolton are relegation candidates at present - they're not a threat to our promotion hopes Not saying that's what I want. Deep down, I think Burnley will win, but my head is trying to tell me otherwise.

Maybe if our 5/6 best players remain injury free (Ings, Vokes, Shackell, Marney, Trippier and Heaton). If any of these get injured, we will struggle to maintain form. Marney was our best player when we won 10 of our first 13, then he was out injured for 5/6 games and we won only one and drew most of them, Soon as he was back, results improved immediately. He is our midfield work horse and fittest player.
Bert Posted 11 February 2014 Posted 11 February 2014 I was impressed with how Burnley got in our faces and put us under pressure. That goes a long way in this league. Keeping players injury free is crucial to every team.

There is a long way to go and you could be five points behind us on Saturday night.
Kyle_Le_Don Posted 11 February 2014 Posted 11 February 2014 Will this game be on Sky? Any links for the game

lancyclaret Posted 11 February 2014 Posted 11 February 2014 29 years since Burnley won at Bolton.....nearly as bad as our record against Blackburn (35 years since a win home or away).
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 11 February 2014 Posted 11 February 2014 29 years since Burnley won at Bolton.....nearly as bad as our record against Blackburn (35 years since a win home or away).Personally I would much rather Burnley went up this season instead of QPR or the red shite or Direby so good luck for the rest of the season apart from when you play us obviously
1972 Fox Posted 11 February 2014 Posted 11 February 2014 Heart says Burnley win, head says Bolton to win. They've got to win a game again sooner or later.... I think you have said that the wrong way round Bert.
Mark_from_USA Posted 11 February 2014 Posted 11 February 2014 Burton. But Boltley have an outside chance. Or is or Barnpool? Or Blackley? or Brightmouth? One of those 'B' teams will win it, I'm certain!
One Legged Beaver Posted 11 February 2014 Posted 11 February 2014 Just seen that Danns is on the bench for Bolton nowadays. Great bit of business loaning out one of our subs who didn't get used much to be a sub for someone else!
ealingfox Posted 11 February 2014 Posted 11 February 2014 On Sky Sports News we follow, we follow, we follow, cos we support the Bolton, the Bolton, the Bolton, but I don't really like it, like it, like it
