Not quite yet, although...

While the Barclays Premier League title race continues to excite and surprise, so the leading pack in the Championship are steeling themselves for the final push for the top flight.

"We are not getting complacent. We know how quickly it can turn around"

Matty James

Five clubs in the second tier have established a seven-point gap on sixth-placed Reading and although there are still plenty of matches left to decide the outcome of the Championship race, Leicester City, Burnley, Derby County, Queens Park Rangers and Nottingham Forest have laid down their credentials as the most likely candidates for promotion.

Leicester lead the way after an impressive campaign in which they have amassed 67 points from 30 matches, opening an eight-point lead at the top of the table. The Foxes' nine-match winning run came to an end when they were held to a 2-2 draw by Watford at the weekend but they remain well-placed to win the Championship title.

There are still with 16 matches remaining, however, and much can change in that time as midfielder Matty James knows from the bitter experience of last season. Leicester were in second place in February but went on a run of only one win in 13 matches and just reached the play-offs following a dramatic win over local rivals Nottingham Forest on the final day of the campaign.

"We are not getting complacent," James told BBC East Midlands Today. "We know how quickly it can turn around. It did last season and that experience is helping us this season."

Should Leicester return to the Barclays Premier League it would end a 10-year absence for a club who have graced the competition three times over eight seasons.

At least we beat Derby and Burnley.

Not surprised to see Florist top, but shocked to see that people actually like QPR.

What possible reason can you have to like QPR? Saggy old Rednapp, Cvnty players (Barton,Dunne,Tarabt,Kenny), cringey 'duh duh duh hoooops' celebration, shit ground, shit attendances, no following, no history... WHY?

QPR and Forest?  More of a victory for media circuses than football clubs.  I'm sure the F***** scum are more than keen to add this to their other world class victories.

I think Premier League fans have just forgotten what Forest fans are like.

Understandable as they've not played there since 1999 but there's no excuse for wanting QPR to be up.

People can only want QPR for the fact it's a good away. Other than that they're a shit-stain on the game at the minute.

I like Q.P.R., and really like their guv'nor, 'Arry.

My mate supports them, and I always enjoy seeing Leicester play there. We always have a tenner on the result, and the winner buys a pint! Hastle free, and decent fans too, by and large.

The ones that have voted for QPR are clearly the Londoners as i keep saying the Londoners stick together! Biasedness towards the london clubs, like Tuesday night for example the commentators were screaming when West Ham scored. As they do when every london club that play against anyone north of watford!

Relax all. That poll is the only thing Forest have won since 1998.

No doubt they'll make a banner for it and have it placed proudly in the home end next Wednesday.

I think most of the County is biased towards London. Just look at most politicians.

I'm not to bothered about a dopey poll on the internet, I'm not bothered if people would like to see Leicester City in the league or not, nothing would spoil my top flight experience as it's been that long I can't really remember 03/04.

Not sure if the majority of that poll attend games, but that said, I'm guessing the people that do attend games will probably like QPR as an away day. I know I do, it's one of my favourite away games.
