Captain... Posted 14 February 2014 Posted 14 February 2014 Don't need, don't want. Bet he will end up at QPR.
Bettsj2 Posted 14 February 2014 Posted 14 February 2014 Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh BULLSHIT AAAARRRRRGGGGHHHHH
LCCFox96 Posted 14 February 2014 Posted 14 February 2014 A bit of experience that can cover both full backs. Short term deal (end of season) this is true but no more. However, there must be questions over wage and fitness surely. Also whether he would even want to play for leicester or derby. I'm pretty sure he could get a lucrative final pay day abroad due to his reputation.
Buzzell Posted 14 February 2014 Posted 14 February 2014 Depending on wages and fitness, but would be good for cover. Short term deal.
Langston Posted 14 February 2014 Posted 14 February 2014 Providing he can prove his fitness and doesn't want the Earth in wages I see no reason why this couldn't be another astute Edworthy / Powell / Phillips type of Pearson business.
Rocky Dennis Posted 14 February 2014 Posted 14 February 2014 BOLL....................................................OCKS
Alf Bentley Posted 14 February 2014 Posted 14 February 2014 Mainly a right back, isn't he? If his fitness and mindset are right, this could make sense. Right back is possibly the position where we have least cover. I know that the likes of Moore, Wasyl and Miquel can play there, but the first 2 definitely look more convincing at centre back; not seen much of Miquel at full back. NP might have justified concerns about how many matches De Laet can cope with in the next 3 months. He's had 1 or 2 injuries in the past and has a very energetic style of play, with his forward runs....
Foxy harry Posted 14 February 2014 Posted 14 February 2014 If we are to go up I would like him here he will have high wages but has plenty of prem experience been there done it all

VLC86 Posted 14 February 2014 Posted 14 February 2014 Got QPR written all over him poor lad, I would rather have a penis drawn on my head
Soar Fox Posted 14 February 2014 Posted 14 February 2014 Might be something in this, Pearson has a couple of tines brought in experience in the 2nd half of the season. Marc Edworthy 08/09 then Nobby Solano 09/10

Soar Fox Posted 14 February 2014 Posted 14 February 2014 KP already this season. Forgot about him ha. With Moore coming back from injury I'd say we are covered in that position anyway. QPR will know doubt offer him a ridiculous wage also.
ScouseFox Posted 14 February 2014 Posted 14 February 2014 Might be something in this, Pearson has a couple of tines brought in experience in the 2nd half of the season. Marc Edworthy 08/09 then Nobby Solano 09/10 Major difference being that I would assume Ferreira would be after a wage and a half, I doubt the likes of Chris Powell or Marc Edworthy were trying to match or even surpass our top earners. Pearson brings in older players who want football and can add to the team and dressing room, maybe a bit cynical but I'd imagine Ferreira wants money more than football and the only thing he'd be adding is a ridiculous wage to our weekly bill. Which is why QPR or Forest would be perfect.
Haydos Posted 14 February 2014 Posted 14 February 2014 Might be worth a trial. I'd leave it up to big Nige.
Guest MattP Posted 14 February 2014 Posted 14 February 2014 35 and played 8 games since 2011? Can't see this happening?
Guest Col city fan Posted 14 February 2014 Posted 14 February 2014 I believe Ferreira was widely considered one of the best full backs in Europe when Mourinho signed him for Chelski. Did he bring him from Porto? Apologies if that's wrong. After a good first seasom he kinda drifted into obscurity. Not for me.. lets not shake up this cohesive team any more.
Lineker's Left Foot Posted 14 February 2014 Posted 14 February 2014 I agree Col hope he doesn't come here - he'll go to QPR IMO
filbertway Posted 14 February 2014 Posted 14 February 2014 Doesn't strike me as a Pearson type of signing, especially if he's only played 8 times in 2/3 years! Seems as it's just agents/players trying to get a cheeky pay day. Thank god Sven's gone.
