lancyclaret Posted 24 February 2014 Posted 24 February 2014 Leicester deservedly are romping to the Championship title but have been overtaken at the top of the table for the Top Six teams by Burnley. Foxes' draw with Forest allowed Burnley to go top with a 3-1 win over the City Ground mob. Current standings: 1 Burnley......Played 7...Won 4...D3...L0...Points 15 2 Leicester....Played 7...Won 4...D2...L1...Points 14 3 Forest........Played 8...Won 3...D3...L2...Points 12 4 Reading.....Played 7...Won 3...D2...L2...Points 11 5 QPR...........Played 8...Won 1...D2...L5...Points 5 6 Derby.........Played 7...Won 1...D0...L6...Points 3 Burnley to play Derby (h), Leicester (h), Reading (a) Leicester play Burnley (a), QPR (h), Reading (a) Forest to play Derby (a), QPR (a) Reading play Leicester (h), Derby (h), Burnley (h)
Guest MattP Posted 24 February 2014 Posted 24 February 2014 That really doesn't look good for Derby and QPR.
Babylon Posted 24 February 2014 Posted 24 February 2014 Stats for Derby are incredible considering their position. Credit to Burnley, looked very well organised when they can to our place... well, after our 30 minute opening salvo anyway.

lancyclaret Posted 24 February 2014 Author Posted 24 February 2014 Apart from the top six, Derby's only other defeat this season is against Wigan, who are 7th!!!! Amazing record against bottom half teams.
lancyclaret Posted 24 February 2014 Author Posted 24 February 2014 So Wigan are the lowest side Derby have lost to? Yes - their 7 defeats against Leicester (0-1, 1-4), Burnley (0-3), QPR (1-2), Forest (0-1), Reading (1-3) and Wigan (0-1).
yorkie1999 Posted 24 February 2014 Posted 24 February 2014 Interestingly, in the 2008-2009 L1 season, we were one point behind of what we are now after the same amount of games..
sylofox Posted 24 February 2014 Posted 24 February 2014 Don't see where the op gets his figures from. How do we have a loss when we are 13 unbeaten. In 7 games we have won 5 drawn two. If he is including the cup you don't get points for them anyway.

Harry - LCFC Posted 25 February 2014 Posted 25 February 2014 Leicester deservedly are romping to the Championship title but have been overtaken at the top of the table for the Top Six teams by Burnley. I like our resident Burnley fan but he shouldn't feel the need to praise us at every opportunity. Politeness is expected but you don't need to grovel!
Brooksy Posted 25 February 2014 Posted 25 February 2014 We've won every game at home against bottom half teams Hopefully that continues come Saturday 5pm.
