Foxhateram Posted 16 February 2014 Posted 16 February 2014 As requested by many, use this thread to discuss any of the up and coming games about teams within and around the top 6. As teams below us have games in hand naturally we want to discuss what result we would prefer to see. This is the place. Starting with. QPR VS Reading. I would prefer a draw personally as Readng are on good form and would like to see there run start to wither. We would still be 10 points clear of QPR with that game in hand they have gone. Come on you foxes!
Larry_LCFC Posted 16 February 2014 Posted 16 February 2014 This thread needs to be pinned so it doesn't get lost. 0-0 bore draw would be best this afternoon I think.

Fox92 Posted 16 February 2014 Posted 16 February 2014 Good idea. Needs to be pinned. I think we should have a massive pinned thread for all the predicitions/calculations as well.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 16 February 2014 Posted 16 February 2014 Good thread... Come on Reading, I think it will be a 1-1 draw
Mark 'expert' Lawrenson Posted 16 February 2014 Posted 16 February 2014 Desperate for Reading to win this as QPR have 4 out of the following 5 games away, so potentially could fall away. A draw would do, any dropped points from now on for the chasing 4 ( I am dismissing 6th spot as they cannot challenge us) is a real blow to them.

Come on you foxes! Reading are 20 points behind us with 16 games to go, unless we go on a major slump they are not going to bother us I would like to see a Reading win, this would apply massive pressure on 2nd to 5th place teams.
ScouseFox Posted 16 February 2014 Posted 16 February 2014 Can't see much bar a scrappy 1-0 QPR win and a very boring game.

Indeed reading aren't getting close to us, I'm hoping they absolutely destroy QPR

Come on you foxes! Reading win is a must. Op they are 20pts behind us on the same games why are you bothered about Reading? Oh and the good form they are in is W4 D1 L5 in the last 10 so picked up 13pts out of a possible 30.
Iwan is a Welshman Posted 16 February 2014 Posted 16 February 2014 Want a Reading win, no doubt about that. I mean I fear the worst but we'd have to cock up even worse than last year for them to catch us. Out of interest we took 15 points from our last 16 games last season, so Reading would need to take 36 from 16.

Spot on. And anything that started a QPR slide would be great. LeicesterAreGoingUp Posted 16 February 2014 Posted 16 February 2014 1-1, le fondre to bag for them, doyle for rangers
Guest Bilo Posted 16 February 2014 Posted 16 February 2014 A Reading win coupled with a result for us on Wednesday would, barring a serious collapse from ourselves and a moderate one from Burnley, probably end QPR's chances of winning the title. The more points Burnley and QPR drop, the more wiggle room we have.
Libertine Dream Posted 16 February 2014 Posted 16 February 2014 Reading win all day long, they're 20 points behind us, if we cock that gap up then we don't deserve to go up
DennisNedry Posted 16 February 2014 Posted 16 February 2014 A Reading win would be fantastic, they are too far behind for us to even think about. In the bigger picture, I want QPR to end up 3rd and lose in the play offs.
El Sieffsi Posted 16 February 2014 Posted 16 February 2014 1 Reading win. 2 0-0 draw 3 Qpr win 1-0 The more points 3rd place drops the better..not concerned about Reading.
One Legged Beaver Posted 16 February 2014 Posted 16 February 2014 Reading win all day long. If Reading were to catch us then I'd imagine at least three other teams would have already overtaken us.
CPW22 Posted 16 February 2014 Posted 16 February 2014 Scoring draw, 1-1 with a late Reading equalizer.
Zear0 Posted 16 February 2014 Posted 16 February 2014 QPR: Green, Hughes, Dunne, Hill, Assou-Ekotto, Hoilett, Barton, Kranjcar, Traore, Keane, Doyle Reading: McCarthy, Gunter, Obita, Williams, Pearce, Gorkss, McCleary, Akpan, Pogrebnyak, Le Fondre, McAnuff Pavel and Adam to hopefully boss Dunne, Hill and Hughes who arn't the swiftest.
