Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 7 March 2014 Posted 7 March 2014 You cvnt - I've just spat coffee all over my trousers. lol lol I don't know why but the idea of separating these two things (ie. the insult, and the resultant spitting of coffee onto one's trousers) makes this itself hilarious, like you've just insulted someone and then for no reason decided to spit coffee onto your own trousers.
Foxes Blue Blood Posted 7 March 2014 Posted 7 March 2014 To be fair on paper we're almost as screwed as they are. The accounts tell us that both clubs had to put their houses in order this season. We did, they didn't. The Evening Standard were reporting that QPR were "set for a £40 million fine" which is pure speculation. Whilst I'd wager that the loss will be similar next year to this given the drop in revenue it's complete speculation. Don't worry Harry! you won't get a fine at all. (To get a fine you have to be promoted to the Premier League, and that's very unlikely to happen.)
Guest Col city fan Posted 7 March 2014 Posted 7 March 2014 Official capacity is 18,360, Col. That's why Fernandes wants to move to a new ground - but unless they can get and keep PL status, that could be a poison chalice. Cheers mate. I guess then its even more imperative that they get promotion this season. To fail would be disastrous to the club and Arry would lose any credibility he still has, I'd imagine.
LanguedocFox Posted 7 March 2014 Posted 7 March 2014 I just saw this: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2575205/QPR-set-axe-TWENTY-SIX-players-Championship-club-reveals-177m-debt.html? Some of the numbers in that story are eye-watering, and put our little local difficulty into some kind of perspective. Edit - Apologies: this information has been posted in the General Football forum. Mind you, it is still relevant here. Fooked?

I can see how it might read that way. Think of it as a 5 minute pause while I tried (unsuccessfully) to stop laughing. I'm still giggling now.

DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 7 March 2014 Posted 7 March 2014 You realise the mockney accented ramblings aren't funny right? There should be a comma after "funny". Right?

DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 7 March 2014 Posted 7 March 2014 wat Seems to me he's pissing up against the wall, or else totally pissed! What dire nonsense.
Corky Posted 7 March 2014 Posted 7 March 2014 QPR boss Harry Redknapp, speaking at his pre-match news conference on Friday, said: "The financial figures are from last year - but I'm not in a position to answer questions on them. "I'm not involved with the finances, I look after the football side of the club. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/26482087 You're doing a fine job Harry.
sylofox Posted 7 March 2014 Posted 7 March 2014 Todays sun if they present the same figures nxt season and go up leads to a 50mil fine. Last years don't count as they were in the prem. If that is correct explains why our owners converted the loans to shares. Just hope they have got it right if not the honey pot of the prem will be a damn sight smaller. May also mean we have nothing to spend.
Strokes Posted 7 March 2014 Posted 7 March 2014 http://m.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/26482087Id love to know how much tony paid for a club with no assets.
sylofox Posted 7 March 2014 Posted 7 March 2014 Id love to know how much tony paid for a club with no assets. Who cares about them if we have it wrong we could be looking at 20mil fine
Strokes Posted 7 March 2014 Posted 7 March 2014 Who cares about them if we have it wrong we could be looking at 20mil fineI doubt it would be anywhere near that for us, whelan says we are on course for compliance, so at worst i would expect £5 million. Thats double without the equity swap.

That totally explains why we have not offered our players new contracts. If we don't go up we would be fvcked. Sorry but ffp wil kill the game small guys even with money owners won't be able to spend. The Gap Just Gets Bigger.

Sorry but ffp wil kill the game small guys even with money owners won't be able to spend. The Gap Just Gets Bigger. It would be nice ,moral and decent, if big clubs were also taken to account on this issue. What club isnt in debt and paying over their means. Its too much to go into detail and I am tired, but the Germans are trying to sort it out and have a good n simple solution to the financial organisation of their clubs.
Socks Posted 8 March 2014 Posted 8 March 2014 Looks like the cheating bastards are gonna get 3 points today Still not going to catch us
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 8 March 2014 Posted 8 March 2014 Good result today for QPR...Looks like it's them trying to chase Burnley as I think Direby might have blown their chance after today?
Guest Col city fan Posted 8 March 2014 Posted 8 March 2014 Looks like it's them trying to chase Burnley as I think Direby might have blown their chance after today? I always thought it would be buddy. Despite the usual suspects dismissing them with a smirk, there's lotsa football left to be played. I think they'll now finish third though. Burnley should have enough.
Guest kristianity77 Posted 8 March 2014 Posted 8 March 2014 Burnley have every chance of dropping points tomorrow at Blackburn so yeah I agree QPR are not yet done for second place.
