What Game Are You Playing At The Moment ?

Was looking forward to dying light 2 but sounds like it's in a bit of a state, I really don't get caught up in hype and tend to wait until games are finished (up to a year after release, if ever, these days!) and get a goty edition for a reasonable price. Noticed dying light ultra mega full complete master platinum edition bunduru was on sale for 14 quid on my x box and not played that for maybe 5 years not even sure I finished it way back when so picked that up and will get dying light 2 further down the line.

I downloaded ME so will get round to that soon. 

 

But at the minute I'm playing Greedfall. 

 

It's a very cool game but christ there's a lot of stuff to learn

Started the Outer Wilds.

 

I know it won a bunch of GoTY awards, but not sure what to make of it so far. It's basically Myst in space with more platforming.

Still smashing Skyrim, managed about 40 hours in 2 weeks, unheard of for me to sit on a console for that long for years.

Switching between this and that in anticipation of next week's big release HFW.  So currently going through Dirt5, a second run through of Miles Morales, and the final stages of Fallen Order.

Yeah I tried that last time it was on Game Pass. Only could manage 2 hours before I was bored out of my mind, just seemed to be a very nice screensaver

Is it still busy? I remember when it first came out, me and my mate played it for days on end. The war system where you have to defend keeps and stuff, is that still the same? 2 of us defended a keep vs. about 25 people back in the day, it was brilliant. We ended up getting bored of it after a while but it's one of those games that'll always stay with me, endless grinding but so many laughs.

Finally finished Mass Effect Andromeda. I always heard stories of it being absolutely terrible in comparison to the trilogy. I disagree entirely. I really enjoyed the game. A very interesting story which had a lot of thought put into it. The battle mechanics were fine with plenty of different ways to play the game. Quests were interesting and not always just fetch quests and plenty of character development.

 

I feel a bit sad that i have now finished the Mass Effect series. I would go straight into the trilogy again with a renegade play through but with Horizon out tomorrow ive timed completing ME Andromeda perfectly.

 

I reckon once i have finished with HFW i will want to return to ME and go renegade.

glad you enjoyed it, i was too but then dying light 2 happened, and elden ring is out next week, might be a month or 2 before i return to andromeda

Finished my run through of Dirt5 and an swift uninstall followed to make space for HFW.  Got all the trophies bar 3, which I can't be bothered to grind, so I'll leave it there.  Decent racer although a little too arcadey for me.

Andromeda was alright, it just suffered similarly to Cyberpunk where it was released in such a poor state people were put off and it never really recovered.

Let us know what GRID is like, loved the first one but they went downhill from there.

 

Just bought Horizon ZD as I've never played it and it was £8 on the PS5 store, so will give that a go at some point. For now it's still Skyrim, whilst I wait for Gran Turismo 7 to be released in 2 weeks time.

I was really hoping someone would do some kind of remake  of speedball 2 for the iPhone / iPad and yet they  never really have which is a total shame. Used to love that game…

Getting very close to the final mission of Horizon, Been level 50 for ages now which is max level. Still have a few valor abilities to upgrade but right now i have legendary weapons and armour. Taking down big machines with Snapshot bow and Braceshot never gets old, Using Shredder more and more now which is a fun weapon.

 

Kinda dont want to do the main story as i do not want it to end but i guess all good things have to end. Still love the facial expressions, especially with Alva. You can see the giddiness in her face when looking at data

That's it. Horizon Main story complete. A really well worked game which was crisp, beautiful and very enjoyable. Took just under 70 hours with a completion of 77%. So still things left to do. Most certainly will be another game so look forward to that

Anyone played The Ascent?

 

Gave it an hour or so yesterday, absolutely beautiful to look at and incredibly detailed world. 

 

 

It's a bit more pick up and kill shit than other RPG's so not as engaging story wise but it's fun.

So I didn't actually realise how close I was to getting platinum. So I have now just got the platinum trophy for Horizon Forbidden West. 68 hours to platinum. 

 

Don't know what to play now
