whoareyaaa Posted 21 March 2014 Posted 21 March 2014 Can't see anything past a Leicester win, think we will get an early goal and there heads will drop. 3 more points to the promise land.
MC Prussian Posted 22 March 2014 Posted 22 March 2014 One game at a time, remember? We've still got a few steps to make towards automatic promotion and it all starts here. We ought to take the game to Blackburn and aim for a win - the sooner we can grab the nine to twelve points necessary, the better. Still, I'd be cautious tomorrow. Depending on his form, Rhodes could potentially rip us a new one. Hopefully, the squad has learnt its lesson from the Watford away game in the playoffs last season. Deeney, anyone? Give it your best shot, because that's all we got. Maintain the unbeaten record and take off to the promising land. C'MON LEICESTER!!
Culletonfox Posted 22 March 2014 Posted 22 March 2014 1-3 for me, doesn't matter about Rhodes! There defence is weak, Vardy hat tick!
LCCFox96 Posted 22 March 2014 Posted 22 March 2014 Got a load of mates together and a minibus sorted. I think we could win. We need to stop Rhodes and Conway to prevent their attack from being too dangerous. If Hanley fails his late fitness test and with Dann having gone in January their defence will suffer at the hands of Vardy, Nugent, Knockaert and Mahrez. Come on Leicester!
Mark 'expert' Lawrenson Posted 22 March 2014 Posted 22 March 2014 I think we will draw today, but will maintain our 17 point gap on 3rd, Derby play Forest which is tough and QPR away at Middlesbore. Expecting another Burnley win to close the gap on us to 5.
sulfoxide Posted 22 March 2014 Posted 22 March 2014 I work in Blackburn. According to their supporters Rhodes is not quick, but they have 2 decent wingers. Oh and if your coming to the match, it's brass monkeys weather and very wet.
suffolk fox Posted 22 March 2014 Posted 22 March 2014 unless i watched a different blackburn than the rest of you against burnley the other week i can't see what there is to fear. they were fu cking awful. like barnsley bad. should be another comfortable win unless they have somehow gone from schoolboy to quality in 2 weeks and one game. Disagree wasn't overly impressed with Burnley either. If Rhodes had scored that chance early in the second half where he hit the post I believe it would have been a different result. Burnley were lucky that day.
gerrytaggart Posted 22 March 2014 Posted 22 March 2014 Rhodes reminds me of Fryatt - Not very quick, Not very skilled but with a knack of scoring goals...underestimate him at our peril. Blackburn 0 - 5 Leicester.
Lobsterboyuk Posted 22 March 2014 Posted 22 March 2014 Come on lads, need to be staking your places for the match day squad in the prem next season so let's not take the foot off of the loud pedal and finish the season in style, 3-0 to city.
foxfanazer Posted 22 March 2014 Posted 22 March 2014 Feeling more confident about this one today. As long as we play our game we should have far too much for these. Drinky and James to boss the midfield and starve Rhodes of any supply. 0-2 city Vardy and Knockaert

Agree, this is your lifetime chance for the big time....c'mon you Foxes !!!
Haydos Posted 22 March 2014 Posted 22 March 2014 Not really. It's all about doing what we've done dozens of times to dozens of teams. Stamp ourselves on the game and be better than they are. Rhodes or not, we'll win if we do that. ok Col's right.
foxfanazer Posted 22 March 2014 Posted 22 March 2014 Col's right.I clearly meant that Rhodes was their only danger and if we cut off the supply to him then we nullify their only threat
Guest Col city fan Posted 22 March 2014 Posted 22 March 2014 Col's right. Of course I bloody am! Did you ever doubt it?
foxfanazer Posted 22 March 2014 Posted 22 March 2014 There wasn't a wrong and right. He didn't get the point of my post
Jimothy Posted 22 March 2014 Posted 22 March 2014 mathmatically how many goals do we need to win this match? x+1 where x = number of goals scored by Blackburn or x+n where x = number of goals scored by Blackburn and n=any whole number bigger than 0.9 I need to know. There's no finite amount of goals Blackburn can get, so to win we just need one more than them, but it's open ended, could be any number. It's not a question of maths. To get promoted, the chasing pack have a finite total they can reach. They can only achieve a certain amount of points between now and the end of the season. So to mathematically achieve promotion we must better than known number of points. Come it's not difficult is it.
Haydos Posted 22 March 2014 Posted 22 March 2014 Of course I bloody am! Did you ever doubt it? There wasn't a wrong and right. He didn't get the point of my post I'm just messing, gotta feed col's ego It's difficult to do both though, I'd rather we focused on going for the neck. If you've got your full backs and midfield focused on nullifying their delivery to Rhodes then you're going to lack outlets on the break and attacking options in the build up.
