Snooty Fox Posted 16 March 2014 Posted 16 March 2014 http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=dWOBRQadPjg Any of you lads caught this video? If so what's your take? I know this is quite a left wing forum so expect negative responses, but the lads were in town pre match yesterday and had a lot of support. Peter Soulsby not happy with them though, surprise surprise.
lavrentis Posted 16 March 2014 Posted 16 March 2014 English are a minority in Leicester. Weird that for a city in England.
Rincewind Posted 16 March 2014 Posted 16 March 2014 Left wing? There are quite a few thatcher babes on here. Depends what your definition of English is.Are they counting the Scots, Welsh, Irish, Greek, Italian, German and American as English or other? I think of it as people born or even working in England. Some may have a different ethnic origin but they pay taxes towards the national coffers so they have as much right to be treated equally. End of.
Stevosevic Posted 16 March 2014 Posted 16 March 2014 English are a minority in Leicester. Weird that for a city in England. No they are not.
Voll Blau Posted 16 March 2014 Posted 16 March 2014 Genocide? Crime against humanity? Not melodramatic in the slightest there lads. I know what they mean though, sometimes when you go down the City it's like you're the minority... Send the buggers back yeah?
One Legged Beaver Posted 16 March 2014 Posted 16 March 2014 White people a minority? I think so. English people a minority? No.
Webbo Posted 16 March 2014 Posted 16 March 2014 I've got a really slow connection atm so can't be bothered to watch all of that but it seems a load of bollox to me.
Dr The Singh Posted 16 March 2014 Posted 16 March 2014 White people a minority? I think so. English people a minority? No. So which ethnic group is the majority? Being english born and bred, i'm concerned that alot of people born here do not consider themselves english!!! I've got a really slow connection atm so can't be bothered to watch all of that but it seems a load of bollox to me. Most definitely!! So which ethnic group is the majority? Being english born and bred, i'm concerned that alot of people born here do not consider themselves english!!! Most definitely!! Using words like genocide!!
AmyLGK Posted 16 March 2014 Posted 16 March 2014 I've not watched it cause I've old skool 90's dial up countryside internet speed (sigh) but I didn't think the English (i.e. those born in England) were in the minority in Leicester!

I got to the bit where he was reading out a legal definition of ethnic cleansing in front of a Polish shop and it told me all I needed to know.
Salieri Posted 16 March 2014 Posted 16 March 2014 That was 8mins of my life I'll never get back I've wasted enough tonight watching the debacle that is the Football League Awards, i'm not gonna use up any more on this judging by the general reaction.
Finnaldo Posted 16 March 2014 Posted 16 March 2014 The funniest bit about it was where he said that ethic minorities make up 54% and that makes English the majority, despite the many different ethnic and national groups that make up that number. It is a shame as they've gone the completely wrong way about it. Yes we should restrict immigration, but the way they parade around different ethnic shops and almost criticise multi-cultural society.

One Legged Beaver Posted 16 March 2014 Posted 16 March 2014 So which ethnic group is the majority? I don't know, I've just heard stats that Leicester is the only City in England in which white people are a minority. The reliability I do not know
