ealingfox Posted 17 March 2014 Posted 17 March 2014 Couldn't go up for the game on Saturday so I was glad it was streamed and I was able to watch it all I think it was after the 2nd or 3rd goal that the video cut to Pearson and Vichai speaking up by the Directors box. Anybody else see this on the stream, or maybe even from your seat in the ground? Of course we are all smiles at the moment but I couldn't help but feel secure by the way they were interacting. Warm handshakes, smiles, hands on shoulders and a fair bit of convo. Compare this with that infamous clip of Mackay and Tan snubbing each other after Cardiff secured promotion last season. Things did look very close and friendly between NP and Vichai and it made me smile. We don't know what goes on behind closed doors, but the Thais must be very excited and full of confidence. It might have come later than expected but their plan is surely soon to come full circle, and they will be happy with their choice to reappoint Pearson. Pearson, on the other hand, although he doesn't appear a particularly emotional man, must also be appreciative and satisfied by the faith and persistence invested in him by the Thais. In all probability there must have been moments during last Spring where Pearson knew he could be very close to the sack, and the Thais were very tempted to pull the trigger. All fairly speculative, but even a relatively cynical man like me took comfort from that several seconds of footage on Saturday. Onwards and upwards.
Buzzell Posted 17 March 2014 Posted 17 March 2014 I seen it. Nice firm handshake between the too. It looked like, for a quick second, that Pearson was going in for a hug?
ealingfox Posted 17 March 2014 Author Posted 17 March 2014 I'm sure its a blossoming bromance. There was a bit where Vichai had his hand on a rail and Pearson put his hand on top and left it there. It was beautiful.
Fox92 Posted 17 March 2014 Posted 17 March 2014 Because of owners are not idiots. Nigel would never work for someone like Tan.
MrSpaM Posted 17 March 2014 Posted 17 March 2014 Pretty sure if one of your staff had got you in line to win 90 million quid you'd be all smiles too
lgfualol Posted 17 March 2014 Posted 17 March 2014 We are the king power foxes, the king power foxes!
BenKimberlin Posted 17 March 2014 Posted 17 March 2014 There was a bit where Vichai had his hand on a rail and Pearson put his hand on top and left it there. It was beautiful. I saw that aha made me laugh. It looked like they had been buddies all their life
Guest Sharpe's Fox Posted 17 March 2014 Posted 17 March 2014 Be careful lads, we are nearly at a Forest level of owner love in syndrome.

LanguedocFox Posted 17 March 2014 Posted 17 March 2014 Be careful lads, we are nearly at a Forest level of owner love in syndrome. With what happened towards the end of last season, and during the summer (ie, fvck all) I think an owner love-in is entirely appropriate. Vichai is an example for all club owners, and especially foreign ones.
nickelbyfox Posted 17 March 2014 Posted 17 March 2014 Nigel also said hi and kissed his wife on the cheek on the stream I was watching.
Dan Posted 17 March 2014 Posted 17 March 2014 Be careful lads, we are nearly at a Forest level of owner love in syndrome. We've got far more reason to be than they have and we're nowhere near at their level. Thankfully.
Smudge Posted 17 March 2014 Posted 17 March 2014 Nigel also said hi and kissed his wife on the cheek on the stream I was watching. I watched it later as it was recorded on my DVR. Nige was kissing every woman he spoke to, which on my count was about 4. No cheek cheek ones either, full on lips, no tonguing though!!
GorlestonFox Posted 17 March 2014 Posted 17 March 2014 Nah didnt see it, but i did see GTF doing star jumps in front of the kop, while stood in an offside position before one of our freekicks, made me chuckle
KFS Posted 17 March 2014 Posted 17 March 2014 The lady he was kissing on the cheek was recently appointed in a director role wasn't she?
THEBIGJOHNSTEADER; Posted 17 March 2014 Posted 17 March 2014 Slightly off topic but I've proposed to 3 women today at different times and they've all said yes. Does anyone know how to dig ones self out of this mildly cretinous hole?

Actually just went on there interesting conversations. Apparently they've got a player called Hughes who's the most creative footballer in England with 4 assists. He's gonna make it

Does anyone know how to dig ones self out of this mildly cretinous hole? Calm down, just call Nigel..he can do all kind of wonders at the moment. His kiising is apparently somthing to behold.
brockmyster Posted 17 March 2014 Posted 17 March 2014 Calm down, just call Nigel..he can do all kind of wonders at the moment. His kiising is apparently somthing to behold. Ive heard that everyone who he kissed on saturday are now pregnant, vichai included
Vicki Vixen Posted 17 March 2014 Posted 17 March 2014 In a recent RL interview when asked about the owners, Nige made a comment he didn't need to speak to them regularly because he trusts them, which I found very reassuring. It's rare for a football manager to talk about trust when it comes to foreign owners. Very positive for us all.
Lambert09 Posted 17 March 2014 Posted 17 March 2014 Because of owners are not idiots. Nigel would never work for someone like Tan. Yet he worked for Milan? A pretty loose guy himself
