Bluetintedspecs Posted 26 March 2014 Posted 26 March 2014 Yesterday was our own doing, with 4 or 5 players who have been excellent playing poorly. Put it down to a bad day at the office, roll up our sleeves and pull the rug out from underneath Burnley on Saturday! COYB
CosbehFox Posted 26 March 2014 Posted 26 March 2014 The worrying thing last night was that we were clueless going forward. . Clueless? I don't think so. We missed two great chances in the first ten minutes, this then translated into overplaying with the ball thinking the goal would come eventually. When they scored, the players felt the pressure and they were poor performances galore. We unlocked the Yeovil defence twice early on and twice in the second half, it was poor execution and a stinking attitude which cost us.

StanSP Posted 26 March 2014 Posted 26 March 2014 A stinking attitude? Yeah you know that stinking attitude where we wanted to go forward but didn't really want to score lol.

Grewks Posted 26 March 2014 Posted 26 March 2014 We created far more chances last night and were the better side. We were fairly poor, whilst yeovil were underestimated by the fans (not the playing staff) put in their best shift of the season. They were miles better than blackpool, charlton and barnsley. Just because you score an equaliser in the last minute does not mean you were 'lucky'. We deserved a point, and if it was based on clear-cut chances we deserved all 3. But yet again the curse of taking them is still evident in our play. Move on, a point closer.
StanSP Posted 26 March 2014 Posted 26 March 2014 ? You lost me there mi ode.. I was mocking Cardiff Fox. I don't really think we have a stinking attitude when it comes to going forward!
Leicesterpool Posted 26 March 2014 Posted 26 March 2014 Just a quick question, what was the formation when Dyer replaced Wasilewski?
Grewks Posted 26 March 2014 Posted 26 March 2014 Just a quick question, what was the formation when Dyer replaced Wasilewski? 1-2-2-2-1-2 (morgan-shlupp, de laet - drinky, james - knocky, dyer - mahrez - wood, grandad
MC Prussian Posted 26 March 2014 Posted 26 March 2014 Just a quick question, what was the formation when Dyer replaced Wasilewski? Looked like a 3-4-3 to me.
Harry - LCFC Posted 26 March 2014 Posted 26 March 2014 Shakespeare said we had Drinkwater and James sitting with Knockaert/Mahrez playing in behind the strikers
CosbehFox Posted 27 March 2014 Posted 27 March 2014 A stinking attitude? The vibe was clear that first 70 minutes we didn't match the same attitude as Yeovil. They won the second phase of play so many times. That's largely down to workrate.

That's largely down to workrate. I'd call it complacency. And Yeovil were clearly the more clever and ready side on Tuesday night.
Dan Posted 27 March 2014 Posted 27 March 2014 Whatever our formation was it was something that Sunday League Hipster would be delighted with, so I'm happy to take a draw on that basis alone. I can't believe players' attitudes came into question. There was absolutely nothing wrong with our application.
MPH Posted 27 March 2014 Posted 27 March 2014 Not read the thread, but just wondering if anyone has touched on the matter of Nige being in hospital being a contributing factor? I'm not suggesting they were blubbering like babies as I'm sure he was fine... but I'd be very surprised if it didn't affect the match preparation and pre match training, ect....
