lavrentis Posted 30 March 2014 Posted 30 March 2014 http://www.foxestalk.co.uk/forums/topic/93448-if-we-go-up-yes-if/ Why was my original thread locked? Is it happening folks?
Leicester1884Filbert Posted 30 March 2014 Posted 30 March 2014 we need to pitch invade, but any fans who are more likely to be the first on are at the back (L1, Sk1, N1) meaning it will take them 5 minutes to get on.

Bert Posted 30 March 2014 Posted 30 March 2014 Without forgetting that the club read this board. They'll do everything they can to stop it.
moreland79 Posted 30 March 2014 Posted 30 March 2014 Pitch invasions are brilliant. Seeing them on tv when cardiff hull went up I remember seeing not one steward or copper trying to stop fans entering the pitch... It wont happen at kp because it didn't when we won lge1. Shame though. . Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk
Craig Posted 30 March 2014 Posted 30 March 2014 To be fair didn't we win promotion and the league away at Southend? So we had nothing to invade our pitch for.
Jace Posted 30 March 2014 Posted 30 March 2014 I can understand many pitch invasions like the Watford match in the Play Offs last season where within the space of 1 minute Watford were going out to going through, I don't really understand it in our situation though haven't we already come to terms with promotion yet?

I think some people find it a bit of fun and their only real chance to actually interact and celebrate with players up close.
moreland79 Posted 30 March 2014 Posted 30 March 2014 In that instance then it wont happen this yr ethier as I reckon we b officlly promoted v reading away. Which kos at 8*07 due to Hillsborough remembrance. So we'd look bad invading pitch anyway. Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk
Jace Posted 30 March 2014 Posted 30 March 2014 Just seen someone I know on Facebook try and run on and celebrate during a local rugby match
The Year Of The Fox Posted 30 March 2014 Posted 30 March 2014 Ill be intending on going on, just not from L block
Leicester1884Filbert Posted 30 March 2014 Posted 30 March 2014 Just seen someone I know on Facebook try and run on and celebrate during a local rugby match what a knob to the guy who chucked him to the ground! Ill be intending on going on, just not from L block yes it would not be very clever, they will just look at the cameras and find you afterwards.
SpoonFox Posted 30 March 2014 Posted 30 March 2014 How many times have we seen someone run on the pitch? All that happens is a chorus of boo's around the ground. It's pointless and long term isn't worth the buzz.
Matt Posted 30 March 2014 Posted 30 March 2014 Were there pitch invasions at Filbo? I remember a few people running on after the last game at Filbo v Tottenham, but that's the only time I remember anything. Likewise I question whether there will actually be one, I'd love one but can't see it happening. Besides I reckon it could be Reading away or waiting a few weeks yet until QPR, dunno why just got a feeling.
Hungry Hungry Fox Posted 30 March 2014 Posted 30 March 2014 It'll be wonderful until some idiot doesn't something to an opposition player then we'll look no better than Leeds
Jace Posted 30 March 2014 Posted 30 March 2014 A pitch invasion on the last game at Filbert St is understandable
Weller in Tights Posted 30 March 2014 Posted 30 March 2014 Were there pitch invasions at Filbo? When I was a kid in the 60's we would sit on the wall at the front then run on the pitch at the end of every game. Two big pitch invasions I remember were the one after the Oxford game when we avoided relegation (invasion of Joy). Then there was the one where pen 1 tried to get at the Newcastle fans and police horses were brought on the pitch to hold the city fans back.
lestajigs Posted 30 March 2014 Posted 30 March 2014 Hope to god we get on the pitch when promoted, there hasn't been many teams that hasn't done it
ramadaone Posted 30 March 2014 Posted 30 March 2014 Can't see it at all but there is a chink of light The pitch is going to be relaid after the season is over so they might let people on the pitch after the Donny game Won't be an "invasion" but might let you on in some sort of a controlled manner but no idea how practical that would be at all
Voll Blau Posted 30 March 2014 Posted 30 March 2014 It's meant to be a spontaneous expression of joy. Asking if one's happening if one's happening on an internet forum sort of defeats the point.
Kitchandro Posted 30 March 2014 Posted 30 March 2014 I remember a few people running on after the last game at Filbo v Tottenham, but that's the only time I remember anything. Besides I reckon it could be Reading away or waiting a few weeks yet until QPR, dunno why just got a feeling. Famous ones in the early 90s, one when we stayed up against Oxford and rather more violent ones against Newcastle the following season. We'll probably seal the title when we're not even playing due to sky, making the likelihood of a pitch invasion lower. All I can think when I think about promotion is how stale the last one was, I had to listen to us go up on the radio, and the trophy presentation v Scunthorpe was a farce, done in front of the West Stand so most of the ground couldn't see it anyway. There was certainly not mental stuff going on so I really hope I don't miss out this season. If that means a party on the pitch then great, frankly.
