One Legged Beaver Posted 1 April 2014 Posted 1 April 2014 After four points at two of the hardest grounds to go in the league I'd fancy us to win on Friday, especially since they don't have Wickham to terrorise us this time. Everyone should be rested up for this game so I'd imagine a full strength side with maybe Dyer in for Knockaert who's had a few frustrating games of late. I'm going to go for 3-1; James, Wasyl (I'm going to keep saying this every week until he scores!) and Nuge
XLM Posted 1 April 2014 Posted 1 April 2014 I went to see them play against Brighton at Hillsborough. Brighton weren't good, and should have won - missed chances cost them. Wednesday literally didn't look like they had a game plan. Every time they got the ball they absolutely pinged it long in the hope that Leon Best would win his header and score. Defensively, they don't really have pace in the slightest. And Giles Coke is the worst footballer i've seen in the championship so far. So I reckon we'll thump these.
Fox92 Posted 1 April 2014 Posted 1 April 2014 Some of them seem confident http://www.owlstalk.co.uk/forums/index.php/topic/211415-predictions-for-leicester/
fox123 Posted 1 April 2014 Posted 1 April 2014 Bless them. We'll be seeing another Pearson goodbye kiss to the Championship Friday; quite possibly on Tops head! Edit; or one of those Thai Lady(boy)'s
-blue- Posted 1 April 2014 Posted 1 April 2014 Last Saturday whilst we were playing Burnley I was visiting one of our worksites right next to Hillsborough. ...limited internet signal meant me walking up, down and around trying to get updates on my mobile. So there I was ....giving it the 'come in city' etc whilst all these shaven headed northern monkeys traipsed past me on the way to another home defeat.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 1 April 2014 Posted 1 April 2014 Actually think this will be a tough game but we will scrape a win 2-1
veezeeblue Posted 2 April 2014 Posted 2 April 2014 Some of them seem confident http://www.owlstalk.co.uk/forums/index.php/topic/211415-predictions-for-leicester/ ;;;;at least one of then was realistic 14-0 LCFC I think he´s a bit pessimistic, I went for 11-0
MattGamble92 Posted 2 April 2014 Posted 2 April 2014 Reading that board reminds me so much of prediction threads on here through the last ten years
Leicester Bean Posted 2 April 2014 Posted 2 April 2014 Reading that board reminds me so much of prediction threads on here through the last ten years Oh how times have changed
Tielemans63 Posted 2 April 2014 Posted 2 April 2014 I'd feel more confident if Vardy was fit. We're not quite as effective without his pace up front. Still think we'll win though, 2-1 I'm going for.
KFS Posted 2 April 2014 Posted 2 April 2014 Kasper Schlupp Wasyl Morgan De Laet Mahrez James Drinkwater Knockaert Nugent Wood Avoid the long ball like the plague. I think we were in characteristic last night due to playing away, Paul 'hoof' Konchesky and a less mobile midfield. Being at home I expect the midfield will flow, and since we're on Sky I'm thinking Nugent will enjoy this. 2-0 Leicester Nuge and Wasyl
Hungry Hungry Fox Posted 2 April 2014 Posted 2 April 2014 4-0 These have been conceding goals for fun lately
LCFC FOX Posted 2 April 2014 Posted 2 April 2014 They will probably set out like Blackpool and Yeovil did and it will be another frustrating game. Hopefully we get the first goal this time and then carry on from there
Captain... Posted 2 April 2014 Posted 2 April 2014 Judging by Christmas, we will have another rest day for those that played last night, for the Millwall and Stoke games the whole team was rested over those 2 games, so we may see Knockeart, Morgan, RDL and Nuge rested, I wouldn't be surprised to see this line up: Kasper© Moore Was Miquel Schlupp Mahrez James Drinkwater Dyer GTF Wood
Woollett's Wellies Posted 2 April 2014 Posted 2 April 2014 I wish Nugent had played for Sheff Wed at some time, then we'd be guaranteed a one goal start at least!
teblin Posted 2 April 2014 Posted 2 April 2014 On last night viewing Wood will be lucky to start in front of GTF. The ball stuck when GTF came on. Wood was very poor. I'd go with the usual side and GTF in for Vardy if he is injured. The other option you have if you want to add pace up top is play Konch and put Jeff up top.

Good point re Schlupp. I notice that one or two Wednesday fans say they have a problem with a pacey attack who can play 'off the shoulder'. If that's correct then he's the option.
Hungry Hungry Fox Posted 2 April 2014 Posted 2 April 2014 I reckon it will be back to the team that beat burnley, wood to start The other option you have if you want to add pace up top is play Konch and put Jeff up top. That won't happen
TheUltimateWinner Posted 2 April 2014 Posted 2 April 2014 Same team vs Burnley, with Wood in for Vardy. Just because he didn't score a wonder goal didn't mean he played bad last night.
goose2010 Posted 2 April 2014 Posted 2 April 2014 2 next games are teams can can do the double over us so i think NP will use this to get the players motivate as well as the obvious! 3-1 all goals coming from our front two. I think he will go back to his strongest possible line up which for me is Kasper RDL Was Wes Jeff Knocky Drinky James Mahrez Nuge and Wood
lgfualol Posted 2 April 2014 Posted 2 April 2014 Team wise, agree with Kent fox. If we go to long ball I'm just going to stop watching. We're dreadful at it. Konch was so annoying last night. Morgan cant seem to pass it along the ground some games. Give Wood the ball to his feet so he and Nuge can get goals. We have to score first. I imagine they will give us a really tough game.
Dickov22 Posted 2 April 2014 Posted 2 April 2014 I think the team will be: Kasper De Laet Moore Morgan Schlupp James Drinkwater Dyer Mahrez Wood Nugent
MrSpaM Posted 2 April 2014 Posted 2 April 2014 Full strength side please, lets get this done and dusted. 3 points and a QPR loss on Saturday means we've done it!
Fridge lcfc Posted 2 April 2014 Posted 2 April 2014 Looking at the owltalk, what made me laugh was some guy saying that they are confident of scoring because we have Schmeichel in goal. Do they know nothing about our team or football in general. Going for a 3-0 win with us playing same team as against burnley with the exception on Wood in for Vardy.
