kingcarr21 Posted 2 April 2014 Posted 2 April 2014 Full strength side please, lets get this done and dusted. 3 points and a QPR loss on Saturday means we've done it! providing Derby fail to win also
Father Ted Posted 2 April 2014 Posted 2 April 2014 Back to the usuals.. Schmeichel De Laet Wasyl Morgan Schlupp Mahrez James Drinkwater Knocky Wood Nugent Subs: Logan, Moore, King, Hammond, Dyer, Taylor-Fletcher, Hopper (if he's fit). I'd be slightly tempted to put Moore in for Morgan...
ealingfox Posted 2 April 2014 Posted 2 April 2014 I'd like Taylor-Fletcher to start, playing in behind Wood, Nuge could use a rest I'm sure. 4-0 City - Wood x 2, Knockaert, Taylor-Fletcher
teblin Posted 2 April 2014 Posted 2 April 2014 Same team vs Burnley, with Wood in for Vardy. Just because he didn't score a wonder goal didn't mean he played bad last night. No the fact he couldn't trap a bag of sand last night did though! Don't get me wrong I think wood is a good player, just didn't do enough last night in my opinion.
Hungry Hungry Fox Posted 2 April 2014 Posted 2 April 2014 No the fact he couldn't trap a bag of sand last night did though! Don't get me wrong I think wood is a good player, just didn't do enough last night in my opinion. Nige isn't a manager who makes knee jerk reactions
FuriousFox46 Posted 2 April 2014 Posted 2 April 2014 2-1 win, I think. They'll look to frustrate but the players will be well up for this with so much riding on it.
LCCFox96 Posted 2 April 2014 Posted 2 April 2014 First goal is big one in this. If we get it I fancy us to win comfortably but if they do I reckon we'll be in for a frustrating evening just like the Yeovil game. We need to take our chances and put this one to bed. The prize of possible promotion the next day should motivate the team to do that. I think we'll go more or less back to normal. I can see a few more being rested though. Kasper RDL Wasyl Morgan Schlupp Mahrez Drinkwater James Dyer GTF Wood Knockaert rested as he has played in all the recent fixtures and I was surprised he wasn't rested last night instead if Mahrez and Nugent to be rotated to allow GTF some extended pitch time. I think that stronger front 2 will help against Wednesday as they are a big, physical side at the back and I can't see Nuge getting much joy there.

It'll be Nugent and wood
bluebeau Posted 2 April 2014 Posted 2 April 2014 I am going for a hat-trick! I got the last 2 games correct, score draw Wigan & win Burnley. So I am going for a comfortable win over Wednesday, 5 - 0 Nuge is due a penalty, Wood 2, Schlupp, & Phillips coming off the bench to bag one! If there really is a God.....................
kingcarr21 Posted 2 April 2014 Posted 2 April 2014 Doesnt Joe Mattock play for Sheff Wed?? If so hope knocky makes him look stupid
Kitchandro Posted 2 April 2014 Posted 2 April 2014 This is it folks. We could be promoted before our next match. Hopefully the players will see it that way. Just go out there, play to your best, and we can seal it. It SHOULD be a fantastic atmosphere and everyone should be chomping at the bit. We're better than these, let's just get it done over the next 2 games.
foxfanazer Posted 2 April 2014 Posted 2 April 2014 Need to avoid this becoming another Yeovil. If we turn uo all guns blazing we should hammer them. 4-1 City
Captain... Posted 2 April 2014 Posted 2 April 2014 No way will GTF start with wood. It'll be Nugent and wood No way will Hammond start with King...
Babylon Posted 2 April 2014 Posted 2 April 2014 Logan Was / Miquel / Moore / Konch Hammond / King / Dyer Phillips / GTF / Wood Just to piss people off.
dobbylcfc Posted 2 April 2014 Posted 2 April 2014 I'm taking the wife she ain't been since ipswich few seasons back but every game I've took her to we've thumped the opposition gonna go 4-0. Schmeichel De laet wasyl Morgan schulupp Mahrez James drinkwater dyer Wood nugent
MC Prussian Posted 2 April 2014 Posted 2 April 2014 We'll revert to the same line-up that we had against Burnley, with Wood starting for Vardy. Since they were one of the few teams actually defeating us, I suspect setting the record straight again will be motivation again for our squad. I just wonder when we will batter an opposing team again - Ã la Bolton at home?
Vicki Vixen Posted 2 April 2014 Posted 2 April 2014 I think Nige will gradually change the team over the last few games, if only to justify his constant reminders about the setbacks and disappointments that we will have to overcome to achieve our goals this season. Just think, we could recall a few loanees, and line up against Doncaster on the last day as: Logan St Ledger Bakayogo Miquel Whitbread Danns Hammond © Gallagher Waghorn Futacs Hopper I think that team could really do Doncaster over in a big way.

kingfox Posted 2 April 2014 Posted 2 April 2014 Schmeichel De Laet - Morgan - Wasilewski - Schlupp Mahrez - Drinkwater - King - Dyer Nugent - GTF 3-0 WIN!

The mad thing is that team could still possibly push us over the line and grab us the title!
Narborough_fox Posted 2 April 2014 Posted 2 April 2014 Schmeichel RDL/Moore Wasyl Wes Schlupp Mahrez James Drinky Dyer Nugent Wood Knocky looked knackered last night so I'd give him a rest. Possibly bring in Moore at RB as well but undecided on that yet.
SmithyFox12 Posted 2 April 2014 Posted 2 April 2014 After being at the match last night, this is the team i'd go for: Schmeichel; De Laet, Morgan, Moore, Schlupp; Mahrez, Drinkwater, James, Dyer; Nugent Wood. Moore definitely deserves to keep his place. Knockaert needs a rest. Hammond and King very close to getting in the starting eleven.
EcclesallOwl Posted 2 April 2014 Posted 2 April 2014 Expecting a defeat but never know with our team. Could turn up and be excellent or we could not turn up at all and get spanked 5-0. We'll probably go with a 4-5-1 Kirkland Buxton Onyewu Loovens Mattock Maguire Palmer Lee Hutchinson Helan Best Something along those lines Should be a good match! (hopefully)
