Unabomber Posted 7 April 2014 Posted 7 April 2014 Wonder if it was you or I that made Babs move Unabomber? You on LL then? And don't worry I'm only gonna blow you a kiss KK mate.
promised land Posted 7 April 2014 Posted 7 April 2014 What did you clock getting back to the station from the ground? Thinking 10 mins could be enough at a brisk walk 10 mins from the ground if you jog all the way and leave before everyone else. I'd say a brisk walk would see 5 mins from the New Walk cross over to the train doors, as when you get to the station, you have to deal with those flapper things if they are shut, then get to your platform and don't train doors shut a minute or two before they go. It generally takes me 10 mins to get to the corner of Mandella park, but I don't leave til the end so with the crowd going down Filbert Way, crossing Aylestone Road. To give you an idea, a 3pm kick off usually means a 4.55pm final whistle give or take, my train leaves for Sileby at 5.25pm and I make it with maybe 5 mins max to spare but as I say after the final whistle and in the crowd. So 25 mins normal walk.
nlukka Posted 7 April 2014 Posted 7 April 2014 Fair play to you. What do you plan on doing during the small hours? I did seriously consider getting that one, but couldn't face going to a club in Leicester on my own... Ha well as fun as going to a club on my own sounds I'll head back to my parents house. I have to get from London to Hampshire in time for an 8.30 meeting otherwise I wouldn't be getting the stupid-o-clock train! What did you clock getting back to the station from the ground? Thinking 10 mins could be enough at a brisk walk I'd allow yourself more than 10 minutes if I were you, even at a brisk pace.
SemperEadem Posted 7 April 2014 Posted 7 April 2014 Going to have to get my skates on to make the 10.01 to Sheffield.
ousefox Posted 7 April 2014 Posted 7 April 2014 What did you clock getting back to the station from the ground? Thinking 10 mins could be enough at a brisk walk Set off at 9.41 according to my phone and there at 9.58 to be precise - included very fast walking and running for about 300 metres in total I'd say. I may have been slow given that I really needed a shit though. Sorry if too much detail!
Bluetintedspecs Posted 7 April 2014 Posted 7 April 2014 KK mate. KK mate. Ha ha me too, be funny if we've spent the season within a few seats of each other! Is Pete, raspy voice singer, far away from you? He's to my left about 15 seats, and back a few rows obviously, as you look towards pitch.
Unabomber Posted 7 April 2014 Posted 7 April 2014 He's to my left too (if I am thinking about the same) I am near the staircase.
ealingfox Posted 7 April 2014 Posted 7 April 2014 Now we are promoted they might want to think about either adding a later train or putting the last one back a bit. Even 15 minutes would make all the difference. When we are playing Chelsea, Arsenal, Spurs, Man Utd on a Monday or other weeknight, they'll be bringing 3000+ and a lot of them will be wanting to watch the whole match and get back to London.

The United fans will definitely be wanting to get back to London !!
I blame Wellens Posted 7 April 2014 Posted 7 April 2014 I hope now we are up the club reduce the away following allocation. I'm sure there will be enough leicester Man U fans, leicester Liverpool fans, in the home areas. Well I call them fans, there's another word I could use.

I'm sure there will be enough leicester Man U fans, leicester Liverpool fans, in the home areas. Well I call them fans, there's another word I could use. They cant reduce the allocation. The rules are that we have to give the away team a minimum of 10% which is 3200
stuartn27 Posted 8 April 2014 Posted 8 April 2014 So man utd give away fans over 7k??? Don't think so
Poakey Posted 8 April 2014 Posted 8 April 2014 They cant reduce the allocation. The rules are that we have to give the away team a minimum of 10% which is 3200 Why do Forest only give 1800 odd then?
Marmite Posted 8 April 2014 Posted 8 April 2014 They cant reduce the allocation. The rules are that we have to give the away team a minimum of 10% which is 3200 There you go
Marmite Posted 8 April 2014 Posted 8 April 2014 Looked into this and it appears that I was sort of right. Its a minimum of 2000 tickets or such number as represents 10% of the clubs certified capacity 34.2 Facilities for visiting supporters 34.2.1 Each Club must make provision for at least 2,000 visiting supporters at every home match or such number as represents 10% of the Club's certified capacity, if less than 2,000. The Executive may, on the prior written application of a Club, suspend this Regulation or reduce the figure either for a particular League Match or for a period of time. Each Club shall, subject to any dispensations granted by the Board, make provision for at least 200 of the visiting supporters to be accommodated under cover. Any Club which fails to meet the requirement of 200 visiting supporters being accommodated under cover and which does not have a dispensation granted by the Board shall have such amounts as the Board shall determine (in its absolute discretion) withheld from that Club's central distributions from the Pool Account until such time as the Club can meet the requirement.
lestajigs Posted 8 April 2014 Posted 8 April 2014 They cant reduce the allocation. The rules are that we have to give the away team a minimum of 10% which is 3200 Over 6000 we will have at Man U and arsenal then!! I don't think so
lestajigs Posted 8 April 2014 Posted 8 April 2014 Man U don't even give us 5% we should follow suit, it's not like we are not gonna sell out

adam95581 Posted 8 April 2014 Posted 8 April 2014 Is there any point in me calling the ticket office for this - are tickets sold out?
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 8 April 2014 Posted 8 April 2014 Is there any point in me calling the ticket office for this - are tickets sold out? There are a small handful dotted around, although the only pairs/groups of seats left are in the corporate section.
4ever and ever Posted 8 April 2014 Posted 8 April 2014 By looking at LCFC Direct there seems to be a max of 10 tickets (Some even less) in the blocks that have tickets left. Most of the ground sold out!
TJB-fox Posted 8 April 2014 Posted 8 April 2014 It says theres 10 left since around 5pm yesterday on lcfc direct and I bought one so somethings definitely wrong there. Would be very surprised if this didn't sell out
