Harry - LCFC Posted 10 April 2014 Posted 10 April 2014 He loves Palace and won't want to go. Plus Schmeichel wants to stay. Don't see any weight to this at all.
AKCJ Posted 10 April 2014 Posted 10 April 2014 He's too good to sit on the bench. Can see someone like Burnley going for them but he won't go anywhere if Palace stay up (and I think they will).
Fox92 Posted 10 April 2014 Posted 10 April 2014 Always rated him. At least if this was true we'd have a goalkeeper as good as/better than Kasper who could both fight for the number one spot. Lets face it Kasper is an automatic choice as long as Logan is backup.
Dan Posted 10 April 2014 Posted 10 April 2014 This is getting tedious already and we have five games until we've even finished this season.
Happy Fox Posted 10 April 2014 Posted 10 April 2014 This has been mooted before, would certainly take him if Kasper leaves.
Buzzell Posted 10 April 2014 Posted 10 April 2014 Yet another rumour. We have Kasper who has the heading ability of Oliver Bierhoff. Unless Palace go down and Speroni is happy to play second fiddle to Kasper, he won't be joining us.
Hungry Hungry Fox Posted 10 April 2014 Posted 10 April 2014 Does every single rumour really need posting on here?
Fox downunder Posted 10 April 2014 Posted 10 April 2014 ha nobody's forcing us read the rumors why complain that there being put up? I'm on here at least 3 times a day checking up don't think the excitement will wear off until the transfer windows closed now. Blue army
Fox92 Posted 10 April 2014 Posted 10 April 2014 Does every single rumour really need posting on here? We need somesort of mega-thread. Half of these names won't be true/won't happen.
Hungry Hungry Fox Posted 10 April 2014 Posted 10 April 2014 We need somesort of mega-thread. Half of these names won't be true/won't happen. Yes! Someone make it happen
lc4lcfc Posted 10 April 2014 Posted 10 April 2014 We need somesort of mega-thread. Half of these names won't be true/won't happen. Half?! That'll still be a signing every other day! Haha
dmayne7 Posted 10 April 2014 Posted 10 April 2014 Used to really rate him but he looks so dodgy nowadays. He's an excellent shot-stopper but he can think one step ahead (i.e. where to parry the ball to). Many better and younger keepers out there.
RizLCFC Posted 12 May 2014 Posted 12 May 2014 http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/competitions/premier-league/10825244/Crystal-Palace-to-make-5m-summer-bid-for-Norwich-City-goalkeeper-John-Ruddy.html This article by the reliable John Percy says Speroni has received offers from Leicester and Hull.
One Legged Beaver Posted 12 May 2014 Posted 12 May 2014 Can't imagine he'd want to come here, loves it at Palace and they've just finished 11th in the premiership. edit: Although now that I've actually read the article it is a possibility if they got Ruddy in to replace him, think the lure of European football with Hull could sway him in that direction though. Never thought I would be talking about Hull and having the pulling power of Europe
kingfox Posted 12 May 2014 Posted 12 May 2014 Can't do know wrong with Speroni. Always been a good keeper.
Happy Fox Posted 12 May 2014 Posted 12 May 2014 I like Speroni but is he better than Kasper I don't think he is, although he has performed admirably for Palace this season.
The Horse's Mouth Posted 12 May 2014 Posted 12 May 2014 seems kind of pointless if Kasper is staying mind you.
Brooksy Posted 12 May 2014 Posted 12 May 2014 John Percy is reliable which means Kasper is probably off.
Harry - LCFC Posted 12 May 2014 Posted 12 May 2014 John Percy is reliable which means Kasper is probably off. Jumping to conclusions much. People were saying that Knockaert was off when we brought in Mahrez as if having three good wingers at the club was too much...
Narborough_fox Posted 12 May 2014 Posted 12 May 2014 Speroni's 35 next week, he's not got that many more years until he'll hang up his gloves and may be looking for one more decent pay package, just because he's signing it doesn't mean Kasper is leaving. We could be signing him as that experienced back-up that we need in that department rather than a replacement for Kasper.
Brooksy Posted 12 May 2014 Posted 12 May 2014 Jumping to conclusions much. People were saying that Knockaert was off when we brought in Mahrez as if having three good wingers at the club was too much... Doubt he'd want to be a back-up to Kasper after being in the Palace first team for the whole season.
