I'm sure he regrets it after seeing what he could have won for Barcelona for a season. He could have a cabinet like Xavi's or Iniesta's instead of a load of Scottish Cup medals that you can buy on ebay.

I suppose the real difference is that Larsson had played at a much higher level before he moved to Celtic. Commons has only played at Championship level really and whilst he was decent at that level, I'm not sure at 31 in August he's going to improve much to make an impact in the Prem.

People say don't sign someone from scotland because it's a poor league. We signed Beckford from the premier and Vardy from the conference... which is the better player and which was the better league they came from. Point being, don't write off people solely because of the league they play in.
