elangLCFC Posted 19 April 2014 Posted 19 April 2014 Looked very solid, commanded his penalty box, got some good punches in and all round we actually looked solid defensively, makes a nice change.
Crinklyfox Posted 19 April 2014 Posted 19 April 2014 Made some good saves first half. Kept us in the game.
Leicesterfarian Posted 19 April 2014 Posted 19 April 2014 I was commenting from the off that we looked much more solid from set pieces. Kasper was very solid today.
I blame Wellens Posted 19 April 2014 Posted 19 April 2014 Looked very solid, commanded his penalty box, got some good punches in and all round we actually looked solid defensively, makes a nice change.Agree and amazed by it.
Guest Posted 19 April 2014 Posted 19 April 2014 noticeably much better. Some good punches and a couple of catches.
Fox92 Posted 19 April 2014 Posted 19 April 2014 We've obviously been working on them, and rightly so. We need to sort set pieces out for next season, we can't keep conceding easy goals. But I agree, we looked better from them.
red5 Posted 19 April 2014 Posted 19 April 2014 noticeably much better. Some good punches and a couple of catches. This looked like he could be worth keeping
sdb Posted 19 April 2014 Posted 19 April 2014 problem is i fear he'll get over confident and eventually come for one he shouldn't. good to see though, we need to dominate set pieces way more than we have
Hungry Hungry Fox Posted 19 April 2014 Posted 19 April 2014 As a whole we were much better defending set pieces today, I thought QPR would trouble us in that department but they never did
Al-aLondon-Foxile Posted 19 April 2014 Posted 19 April 2014 I commented on this during the match too, makes a nice change to see him command as he did today. Was he given more space at corners to move around and be positive? I also thought we won more headers today than normal, all over the pitch we won flicks and challenges. Was this because QPR are to big for their boots and don't challenge and play for each other? I dunno, just a thought.
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 19 April 2014 Posted 19 April 2014 The trouble with Kasper, imo, is that he puches balls that should be caught, sometimes, and that is risky.
Webbo Posted 19 April 2014 Posted 19 April 2014 I thought he had an excellent game , especially first half.

Looked to me like they did not put men on him to stop him coming out at corners like a lot of teams have his year
ScouseFox Posted 19 April 2014 Posted 19 April 2014 problem is i fear he'll get over confident and eventually come for one he shouldn't. good to see though, we need to dominate set pieces way more than we have yeah i think that might become a problem too. in the first half he reminded me of when i play fifa and before the corner is even taken i've got my finger over the bring keeper out button and just hope the corner ends up near him so he can claim it. he was almost already running out before the ball was even in flight a few times. if qpr could take a decent set piece we could've been in trouble. was nice to see us not concede for a change though.
Manwell Pablo Posted 19 April 2014 Posted 19 April 2014 Came for everything and it worked today, and he had a good game. Can't rely on him doing that every game though the defense has got to do it's bit when it comes to set pieces
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 19 April 2014 Posted 19 April 2014 I thought he had an excellent game , especially first half.Agreed there, great saves and clearances first half
Narborough_fox Posted 19 April 2014 Posted 19 April 2014 The trouble with Kasper, imo, is that he puches balls that should be caught, sometimes, and that is risky. It's much safer to punch a ball than catch it nowadays. With balls that move all over the place you never know if they're going to dip last second etc. so you may as well get a strong punch on the ball and get it away from the penalty area.
Haydos Posted 19 April 2014 Posted 19 April 2014 The trouble with Kasper, imo, is that he puches balls that should be caught, sometimes, and that is risky. It's a lot safer punching balls that should be caught than trying to catch balls that need punching.
Hungry Hungry Fox Posted 19 April 2014 Posted 19 April 2014 He is one of the best keepers at punching the ball IMO
