Richard Posted 14 June 2015 Posted 14 June 2015 Also any tips for getting the most out of these 2? Especially the winger
Dan Posted 14 June 2015 Posted 14 June 2015 If I saw him at another club I wouldn't sign him. Even if he has high PA, his CA is so low that you've got way too much to do. No speed, no flair, no anticipation, no bravery, no off the ball movement. Your best bet is to retrain him as a DMC and use his base tackling as a starting point. Even then, best case scenario, you have a world class technical anchor who's an absolute wuss. Already got Cambiasso on him as you'd imagine. Not claiming he'll be an absolute world beater but he's got a 4 star with the 5th blacked out for potential according to all of those with high potential ability judgement. I'll post him up again in a year and see if he has developed anything in terms of bravery etc... he's got the absolute perfect mentor.
Finnegan Posted 14 June 2015 Posted 14 June 2015 Don't think bravery will go up through mentoring. Pretty sure determination and ppms are the only visible stats to shift.
Stadt Posted 14 June 2015 Posted 14 June 2015 I'm at Wolfsburg now after winning a cup double at nantes, finished 6th so wanted to leave because nantes won't let me spend silly money, I left for Wolfsburg and Nantes only went and got taken over Anyway I've got two Japanses right backs called Sakai, fvcks me right up, there stats are basically the same as well Forgot to mention I've got Uchida as well
Hollism Posted 15 June 2015 Posted 15 June 2015 Started a new Leicester save on FM handheld a couple of weeks ago... 14/15 11th 15/16 12th League Cup win 16/17 8th League Cup win Europa League win
ramboacdc Posted 15 June 2015 Posted 15 June 2015 got offered the west brom job on mine after my 2nd season of keeping Leicester up. the finances i must admit, are ****ed at leicester now. so i helped them out when i moved to the baggies by buying kramaric for 9.5m. just lost in the league cup to Ipswich on pens as my tactics have not really blended in well yet.
jammie82uk Posted 15 June 2015 Posted 15 June 2015 have to have a little chuckle when i see things like this said his achievements
FoxLAD Posted 17 June 2015 Posted 17 June 2015 Well after mix season i'm feeling OK. After finishing in a disappointing 16th last season I managed to keep all my star players and add a couple of players too and this season my team i think finally gelled together. First ever game at my new stadium Gradi Park was against Man Utd. we drew 2-2. That was the start of a remarkable season, flirting with the final Champions League stop for most of the season with Leicester challenging too. But beating them 4-0 in the FA Cup dented confidence and gradually they lost form and eventually they finished 7th. But that wasn't the end of it, their form dropped so Arsenal and Man U form picked up witch gave me a hole new problem, a tight race between all 3 of until last 3 games of the season, I was sitting 4th with 1 point above both of them with a worse goal difference then both of them. they both won the games i drew to fvcking Norwich. Then the game i had to win to stand any chance of of qualifying for the Champions League... At home to Leicester. With they won. so i eventually missed out on 4th and ended up finishing 6th. THEN what do Leicester do? Sack their manager (Andres Vilas-Boas) and offer me the job. Witch i had to turn down unfortunately But i did win the FA and Capital One Cups. Now i have the problem of trying to keep my players from leave again.. with this teams average age of just 21 in a couple years time can easily challenge for the Premiership.
ramboacdc Posted 17 June 2015 Posted 17 June 2015 i have just been sacked by west brom after 8 games in charge! 8! they were arsenal everton man city man u liverpool spurs qpr chelsea I got 1 point out of them and they sacked me for poor results. sorry but west brom aint known for beating these! i got offered the burton job but they walked away when they wouldnt give me more than a 2 year deal. ended up at championship peterborough who are in the mid table chasing promotion. 1.7m budget and the manager and all staff left for...you guessed it west brom.
LCFC FOX Posted 17 June 2015 Posted 17 June 2015 1 point is terrible to be fair should of got a few more games though
ramboacdc Posted 17 June 2015 Posted 17 June 2015 1 point is terrible to be fair should of got a few more games though i must admit it was not the best run of form and the laptop was nearly planted in the wall. but i blame it on not hiring my own coaching staff, using the assistant manager that stayed there and my tactics not getting familiar fast enough.
RoboFox Posted 17 June 2015 Posted 17 June 2015 I find the job offers can be a bit unrealistic... I guided my RB Leipzig to promotion in season one, then scraped a 14th place finish in the Bundesliga the next season avoiding relegation by 5 points, that coupled with getting to the DFB-Pokal semi-final had Barcelona, Juventus and Milan all asking me to go and interview for their jobs. Needless to say, I declined all of them... I'm building a Leipzig legacy! In my third season and 3rd in the Bundesliga with 5 games to go.
FoxLAD Posted 17 June 2015 Posted 17 June 2015 I'm in a pickle now. So Last season my first choice GK Khune(33) was in the last year of his contract and would sign a new one (of course he wanted to play for a bigger club..) My Future Number Istvan Vass (19) so i'm loaning him out untill he gets better, So i sign Michael Vorm (37) on a free for back up. i signed Bernd Leno (28) but he wasn't going to come until the end of the season (when Khune's contract was finished) Everything was going smoothly doing well in all competitions then at the end of November BOOM Khune injured for 2-3 months. so of course i put Vorm in but he was a disaster letting in 2-3 goals a game. so i recalled Vass and he was brilliant 14 games - 10 conceded - 6 clean sheets. NOW i want to loan him out but he keeps moaning so i have leno & Vass who both want to be number 1's..

Higher reputation.

Finnegan Posted 18 June 2015 Posted 18 June 2015 Just rotate them. Play Leno in the bigger games, play the kid against the weaker sides you expect to be on top of and split their game time about 60/40. They should both be okay with that.
Ozwin Posted 18 June 2015 Posted 18 June 2015 When you find a player with 20 pace/20 acceleration you don't half know about it! The guy zips around the pitch like an absolute rocket.
MooseBreath Posted 19 June 2015 Posted 19 June 2015 Finished 3rd with Leicester in the fifth season. Sitting third again in the sixth season and into the knock out stages of the champions league. Rodrigo is back for his fifth consecutive season long loan and is banging the goals in. Gerson is also great. Liam Moore has played in a world cup final (which England lost in the 121st minute). Lots of regens now. Also snapped up Carlos Fierro for £6m after seeing rave reviews on here. He's mid 20s now but couldn't make Chelsea's squad so was available on the cheap. Chelsea, by the way, have played 20 won 19 so far this season. Their one defeat all season came away at Stoke on a Tuesday night in November, which just goes to show. Still haven't won anything. Closest has been the final of the uefa cup which we lost 2-1 to Inter.

RoboFox Posted 19 June 2015 Posted 19 June 2015 Anyone got a Director of Football that they actually use? Anyone found any benefits? Mine, Ralf Ragnick has unreal stats, but it just seems to me that they're there to be used if you can't be arsed with the transfer negotiations... Also, I find I can generally get players cheaper that the DoF does.

Dan Posted 19 June 2015 Posted 19 June 2015 I have no time for anyone who doesn't sign Adama Traore. I'm in a pickle now. Also, I find I can generally get players cheaper that the DoF does. I'm sure the usual suspects will tell you better than me but I generally just use them to save myself a bit of time in binning off the crap players. I'm not sure there's any particular attributes that are that handy. Finished 14th with Leicester first season. Lost the League Cup final. Second season's actually been really poor. Mix of bad luck with injuries and not taking chances has done the harm. The likes of Kranevitter, Fierro, Romero, Balanta etc... had no interest in joining us what so ever. Nicusor Stanciu and Virgil Van Dijk probably my best buys of the summer.

Stadt Posted 19 June 2015 Posted 19 June 2015 Director of football can be a handy way of increasing scouting knowledge. Anybody else find Leicester saves boring?
